Song E Napule
Best pizza in NYC!
Every guy working there has been super fun as well!
Keep going guys!
Could not be better - Authentic in every element, impeccable service, and food portions, price, and taste worthy of SIX stars
Food was great but music was sometimes too loud
Absolutely best pizza, hands down! The place is very tiny and unassuming but you won't regret going there. The service is also great, the waiters are super nice
Food was amazing, hospitality was great but it was way too loud. I understand it was Saturday and they had to play music but the place is way too tiny to have such loud music
The food and ambiance are both great. It's small. It's a dive. It can be loud. But man, the food is good. And it's one of the only Italian places in NYC where the CUSTOMERS are speaking to the staff in Italian. It's very authentic.
Billed as a BYOB which is definitely the case as all the information regarding them on the internet states so. I feel like they bait and switch you to get you in the door with the BYOB factor.
This remains the best pizza I've eaten in this country. And I've eaten a lot.
Great food and great atmosphere
the best pizza I've had in nyc - and I've had a lot; this place is the authentic european vibe - an amazing staff with the energy and vibes that transport you to europe; i'm a huge fan of their marinara pizza - just delicious crust and marinara sauce, as i don't eat dairy, but the all of their pizzas are INCREDIBLE. it is a very, VERY small restaurant - reservations are highly recommended
What a great Italian restaurant! We received quick service, with a reservation, and didn't have to wait long for food to arrive. (This was on a Saturday too while it was very busy!)
The food was amazing. I had the black squid fettucine with shrimp. The taste was fantastic and the price/value was great for NY!
The service was great as well. Our server, and their other help, were very friendly and helpful.
The food is really great, and the place very cosy. It is fine for an unplanned bite, however the fact that you have to go thru the kitchen to a filthy unclean bathroom is a HUGE no-no for me. I do not understand how they could have a permit to operate.
Best pizza in NY so far! Loved the atmosphere, the food and the service. Small and perfect.
Stumbled across this restaurant about 3 1/2 years ago. The owner was in front of the place and tried to convince us to come in as we walked by. He was really nice and full of energy so we said, what the heck, and we went in. We have no regrets.
We've been here many times. Last week we went for the first time in a year or more. The place changed slightly but it's still tiny. And now there are awards hanging on the wall. Well-deserved! Also, the menu is a tablet that you swipe through and has clear pictures of everything. Very helpful.
Every time we've been here, and no matter what we ordered, the food has been outstanding! The one thing that's evident is the quality and FRESHNESS of the ingredients. We love it here. We just want to come with a bunch of people and order more dishes so we can taste all of it!
We love pizza so we decide to try this place recomendémosla fue a friend, the experiences was perfect delicious, the flavor, the timing in the oven, the sauce, everling was perfect!
la miglior pizza di NYC!
Best pizza in town! The playlist has songs that are part of the Italian culture. The restaurant is a bit small, but the staff and the owners make you feel at 'home', Neapolitan style! Highly recommend to pizza aficionados and Italian that haven't been back home in a long time!
The food was absolutely amazing!
Great place with excellent pizza (didn't try the other dishes, but the looked amazing as well). Authentic atmosphere and very friendly personnel.
One of the, if not THE, best, AUTHENTIC pizza in the city. A must.
Song e Napule’ is always the best choice for me, I had dinner with my italian friends and ... Ciro, his food ... his pizza .. are on top of the top ! Great location and excellent food
The food is great , but is a really small space and looks like they rush you , you fell like have to eat quickly and get out.
We come here every time we are in the city - food is beyond incredible - staff is beyond incredible - in a city with a million excellent choices, it is beyond excellent!
The pizza is one of the best in the city, the place is nice and friendly, the owner is great - feels like a secret place you can share with people to show how much you know, but also like a place you can eat at all the time.
It would have been perfect if they didn’t decide to seat a 4 person family at a 2 seat table right next to us. So annoying having a 5 year old screaming and rocking his chair incessantly 1 inch from our table.
Really authentic Napolitan pizza place. Will be back for sure!
Really good pizza (tried the mushroom and prosciutto) in a lively location! We tried the special appetizer (potato and cheese croquette) and it was great too! Only complaint is that the music is very loud so it would be hard to carry on a conversation with more than two people. Very friendly waiters and I’m looking forward to going back!
One of the best restaurant experiences we’ve had! The staff was so friendly and fun! The mood was upbeat and energetic. Food was incredible. Came with a group and planning our next visit already!
Wonderful, authentic, Italian restaurant . We are so glad we went for dinner.
Came here twice with family for both Mother’s and Father’s Day after hearing good things and have not been disappointed. The food is outstanding, from the appetizers to the pastas and the pizzas. (We were too full for dessert both times but no doubt those are great too!) Service was attentive and always friendly. Would gladly come back again and again.
Three of us went to Song e Napule for the first time on a recent Saturday night. We appreciated being able to get a late reservation (10 PM); when we arrived, the place, which is quite small, was packed. We had a brief wait before being seated. I don't know if Song e Napule is as raucous every night as it was on Saturday, but if you're looking for a quiet spot conducive to conversation, it's not the place. The music was very loud and the staff and owner were boisterous, too. It was like eating in a neighborhood spot in Naples, but louder. (Interestingly, a lot of the music was salsa sung in Italian -- I was startled by the version of "Guantanamera" they played because the singer was singing that Cuban classic in italiano, not Spanish.) That said, we enjoyed our meal a lot and as it got later and things quieted down a bit, the lively atmosphere was fun. Service, by Ciro (the owner, I think) and Giggino was efficient and genial. We had pizza, and we all felt it was the best pizza napoletana we'd had in a long time -- perfect crust, light and pillowy yet chewy, with excellent tomato sauce, mozzarella, as well as other ingredients (sausage and mushrooms for me, mushrooms for another one of us, and a napoletana for our third). They were so delicious we gobbled them up in minutes. We will return, maybe on a week night, to sample some of the other Neapolitan specialties. Highly recommended for excellent and authentic Neapolitan pizza. Just be prepared for the noise level.
Amazing!!! So so fun and such great guys
Love this place, I have been here many time, because the pizza is the best. I also love the ambience and service, definitely go and try this place you would not be disappointed.
Great food, portions could have been a little bigger. Overall great restaurant.
Wonderful brick oven pizza. Local Italian ownership. Great neighborhood place. Very small, indoor and outdoor seating. Super casual.
Eccezionale !!!! Staff ultrasimpatico !!!
Everything was must perfect. The pizza was even better than many places in italy, let alone NY. And i’m saying this as an Italian myself
great food, great service! a little more expensive than we anticipated but not at all unreasonable. an awesome experience all around, we'll be back!
