   I would eat here 7 nights a week. Food was beautiful and staff where so nice. It would be so nice in the summer sitting outside. We were sitting outside last night and heaters are everywhere. I would definitely go back and I can't recommend it enough

    Way too overpriced for the quality of food served. The quality of the food is very very poor. It was cold when it arrived to our table. I got served my main meal but my partners did not arrive until a few minutes later and his was also cold. Service was only alright. It was quite slow. For example we ordered drinks before our meal but we were nearly finished our meal before our drinks arrived. We came here for a special occasion which I had mentioned at the time of booking and it was completely ignored. I wouldn’t be inclined to go back again.

    Beautiful restaurant. Staff were very professional and attentive. Ambiance was rustic and cosy. We felt the food and drinks were overpriced and for this reason I deducted a star. However, the food was very tasty from start to finish and a very nice experience overall.

    Would highly recommend for dinner and drinks. Went as a couple but would be great for a group also. Food was delicious, so much choice on the menu. Our waiter was fantastic - service in general was amazing. One thing I would recommend - which I didn’t know about - is to ask for a table by the window with a view of the city.

    Ambience and setting is lovely. Very friendly and helpful staff. My food was lovely but my main course wasn’t the hottest, still tasty food. Cocktails were amazing❤️.

    Lovely food, fast service, cracking cocktails and wasn’t overly expensive. Closes early enough - around 23:00 which wasn’t ideal, but there’s plenty of places to move on to

    This is a lovely restaurant with great views over the city. The central bar & decor are lovely & the staff we encountered were very friendly. Unfortunately we had to send back two steaks that were undercooked & one was also cold. Very few vegetables, and the carrot we got was hard. Overall its nice for a visit but stick to the cheaper menu options like pizzas as the steak is definitely overpriced!

    Best service ever, unbelievable food with a great view. Staff was so nice, helpful and supportive and went the extra mile to make my boyfriends birthday even more special. So so grateful for them all (didn't get the names sorry) and will definitely be back.

    We were most disappointed with the staff dress codes and presentation. Sophie’s restaurant is very pleasant and our expectation of a high class dining experience quickly dissipated on being greeted by lady dressed inappropriately as maitre d. Further more serving staff in jeans and trainers with phones in back pockets and cigarette packets also in back pockets are probably more suited to less prestige premises.

    I always like eating at The Dean, Cork. A lovely venue. Great to have a roof top view over Cork. Something a bit different than the usual street level eating. A warm welcome. Usually always busy, but a more vibrant atmosphere than just loud. The serving staff are bright and cheerful. SPECIAL SHOUT OUT TO KYLE our waiter who was just PERFECT! More like him please. A throughly enjoyable evening. I booked outside, but managed to change to indoor seating.
