We spent great time and had fantastic dinner in the Sophies. The place is very nice and food was delicious. We got a table near the window as view was amazing. Special thanks to Aga as she was looking after us on that night. We will definitely return there soon. Highly recommended!

We went for brunch which I was so looking forward too. Sophies restaurant is a really beautiful place but I felt the food was just not special. The food didn't taste bad but I felt the presentation was just basic and nothing out of the ordinary. Cafe close by has better value for money as regards portion size and presentation. I have been to Sophies before for dinner which was really good so was disappointed with brunch.

The staff were friendly and very efficient. The dinner was very tasty with quick service. Breakfast was also very nice. The music in the dining room was farf too loud.

I always get dinner at Sophies when staying at The Dean but the quality of the food hasn’t been the best lately. We ordered the seared chicken with pasta and it was absolutely bland. The same situation about the 10 oz Sirloin of beef. Disappointed when it comes to quality and taste considering the price. Ive tried way better meals for half the price.

Excellent brunch. We had the Chicken and Waffle and Eggs Benedict. Both meals were delicious. Perfectly filling. Staff were attentive and friendly. Having had a less than stellar previous visit I’m glad that everything was back on form. Keep up the good work.

Great location - outstanding views of the city! Food was delicious, the staff were very friendly and efficient, and the overall cost was reasonable. The restaurant decor was lovely too. It was my first time there, I hope it won't be my last!

We were celebrating a friends birthday and although we had been to Sophies before we were still impressed with every aspect of the restaurant. The views are good although the building works counter the vista a little. However everything else was excellent - our server (Luke) was superb, chatting as he served us and ensuring everything was as it should be. He was a large part of making the evening extra special. Food was excellent - good value overall.

We enjoyed Sophie’s. We sat outside which was very pleasant. The food was good. The server was very nice, but was unable to answer any questions about the menu (perhaps she was brand new, but obviously had not been given any orientation about the food). We would return

The waffles are really hard, thus has happened twice in visiting, it’s like they’ve been microwaved and they aren’t fresh. Also the mushroom and spinach hash didn’t have very much mushroom or Spinach in it- we had to ask for more. Otherwise it is just very expensive potatoes!! Seems like the portion sizes have gone down in the last month or so. Staff are great though. I’d recommend opening for brunch at 11.30 rather than 12. And serving Bloody Marys!

Service went down from last time I was there. There were amazing emmebes of staff, but just 1,2, most are lost. Food is very expensive for what you get and quality.. Was really disappointed.. Location, amazing! Something changed and I am not sure what as I used to love this place and would always choose it for any celebrations.
