    On a day trip from Glasgow and Sophie’s was the perfect lunch spot. Great views of the city from the restaurant and the rooftop terrace was amazing to relax and soak up the sun. Big thanks to all the staff for their welcome and hospitality during the day. Little touches make all the difference, chocolate brownie to mark birthday!

    Booked to celebrate a birthday and indicated both in writing and in person to front of house I’d like to order a surprise cake etc, but nothing was done ⌒̈ left disappointed. Food and ambience was great though!

    Very impressed with personal touch given by the restaurant: they actually read a little notes left when booking a table. Brought a complimentary glasses of champagne and congratulate on our anniversary - made our evening!! The food was amazing, atmosphere very friendly, views are beautiful. Definitely recommend Thank you for fantastic evening.

    The restaurant itself was great! We booked a table for 9; a group of friends having a small reunion. The food was delicious, the ambience was just what we were looking for and the bartender and our waiter were so lovely. The only issue that I had was the attitude of the manager/seating host. I ordered a bottle of wine at the bar while we had a short wait for our table. I paid for the bottle at the bar and then I moved to our table. At the end of the dinner we got our bill and I was being charged for the bottle again. Our waiter was not at fault, I guess he didn’t realize I had already paid for it. Because we were catching up with friends we were there for a few hours and our waiter was leaving for the night so he left us the bill and let us know that one of his colleagues would be settling our bill. We mentioned to the manager/ seating host that we had already paid for the wine and he responded with a bit of attitude. He said that there was no way that we could have been sitting for so long and only had one bottle of wine. Mind you everyone else was ordering tons of drinks and it was only my bottle of wine that I was sharing with one other person. I was a bit taken aback and I even presented my receipt from the bar. After some back and forth, he eventually removed it from the overall bill. So that wasn’t the greatest service experience from that particular individual but it doesn’t take away from our amazing waiter and the lovely bartender. We still had a fun time together but the bill put kind of an awkward mood at the end of the night.

    Fantastic experience as always in Sophie’s. The best rooftop in Dublin to go share with friends and couples for good food, good drinks and good times. Staff are class from the front door to the waitresses

    Booked as staying at the Dean. Glad I did. Welcome was friendly. Seated promptly. Water poured when seated. Great menu. Food was fantastic. Great for solo dining - unrushed and a great room for people watching and the view is incredible.

    Once we found Sophie’s on the 5th floor we were very happy. Food was exemplary, ambiance great and our Asian female server was super in terms of service and friendliness. She made our visit pleasant and memorable.

    Great styling and atmosphere. Great authentic Italian pizza and juicy steak. I would give 5 stars for food however the chocolate fondant desert was not great. Other than that we had a fabulous night and we will be back for sure.

    Beautiful, panoramic views overlooking Dublin. We had the most delicious food during our visit. Staff were attentive and the atmosphere was great. Would highly recommend this restaurant to others.

    Overall had a really good experience, our waiter was lovely. Very friendly and helpful, made us feel special. We got steak, disappointed mash or chips are not included and had to be paid separately.

    Gorgeous view and the food was delicious. The service was good but it was very busy and we had booked for 8.30 but were not seated until 8.50ish at as a large table this meant it was quite late until we ate. Staff were friendly.

    It's a good place to visit. We loved the food and the atmosphere. We didn't like the service that much. The waitress rushed us a bit asking if we wanted another drink or the bill… I was willing to eat a dessert but I gave up when I felt the” push”. Overall it's a good place to visit.

    Ordered the Mushroom, Prosciutto, Parmesan, Mozzarella, Balsamic, Fresh Rocket “pizza” and asked the waitress for no Mushrooms please. What arrived was a rolled up length of dough with mushrooms inside and raw tomatoes as well as the other toppings mentioned in the description. Trying to get the waitress over to rectify my order was near impossible and because we were tight for time I couldn’t wait around too long for a new order to arrive. It’s also worth noting that when we asked for a jug of water we were told “sorry we don’t do that” and that they would “keep an eye on our glasses needing to be refilled” (an impossible task when the waiters are never seen) There was broken glass on the floor beside were we sat too. In general I wouldn’t recommend Sophies, as I don’t feel the care for food or the customer is there.
