   Good location and views of city. Nice food but disappointing deserts. Vanilla Caramel Sundae with whipped cream and honeycomb was actually a bowl of 3 scoops of icecream a tiny drizzle of caramel sauce and a light dusting of honeycomb. Sad end to our meal. Service was a little slow but we were a group of 8 so expected some delays but main course and drinks in between were quite slow. Our waiter was very good though so can’t blame him.

   Food was ok. Staff were nice. We arrived at 9:15 for our reservation at 9:30 but we didn't get seated until 10pm.

   Our food, the waitress and the atmosphere was all great. The only negative was that it took quite awhile to get seated while we waited to be assisted at the entrance.

    It was my first time here at Sophie's and everything was amazing from the service to the food. Plenty of choices to choose from and a great selection of drinks and cocktails. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a night out and the view of Dublin was amazing at night.

    We have been going to Sophies for many years, I love the room and the view. This time the food was really poor. Out Pizza was totally tasteless, the Gnocchi was strange and not good at all and the steak was just ok. The Negroni was not great, there was no Peroni available. The staff were friendly but not very attentive. The table was sticky when we sat down, our main course arrived before the starter plates were cleared. We had to ask for the table to be cleaned a long while after the main plate were taken away (chips and sauce spilled). The ice-cream Sunday was pretty boring with very little sauce. It was really expensive for such a poor experience, really the food was dreadful. It is so disappointing because we really like the place.

    Booked a table for a baby shower. The perfect locations for a girly celebration. The food was excellent and the service was even better. Highly recommend. Great selection of cocktails also.

    Pros: Great cocktails. Beautiful ambiance. Cons: Food was average at best. 34€ for a steak that I could barely cut through using a steak knife is unacceptable. Wait staff took our order and never came back to fill our water even when stopping at nearby tables. I would go back again but only for drinks in the future.

    We enjoyed the restaurant and ambiance. Service was remarkably inattentive - our server barely checked on us and it was hard to get her attention. When we did, we often had to ask for things twice, with a long wait in between each request. But if you’re not in a rush and don’t mind long waits for attention it was a nice place to spend an evening.

    I make sure I go to Sophie's at least once each time I visit Dublin. The excellence is always consistent. Be sure to make a reservation though, so as not to be disappointed by not getting a table.

    Went here on a date, sat us beside the window as requested. Held our table despite us being late. Food and ambience was fantastic. Service was slightly slow but understandable given amount of customers

    We dined at Sophie’s to celebrate my Mum’s birthday. From start to finish we had a wonderful experience . Delicious food, great atmosphere and fantastic service. Thank you to all who made it so special . The candle and cake was such a lovely touch too. We will be back!

    Fantastic brunch with great friends. We adjusted the time of our reservation and the team could not have been more accommodating. We had a delicious brunch, really varied menu, with the loveliest service and the team even treated my 6yr old son to a special birthday cake with candles! Could not recommend more, we’ll be back.

    Got seafood linguine.. very bland, no herbs at all in the sauce, just tomato, very little seafood in it.. a fine meal at an average price, but a ripoff for what it was at the price it was.. my friend had the same experience where they got a medium rare requested steak cooked to medium. Dessert was great though, and cocktails were nice but not 13 euro nice

    We had a really lovely morning here last Sunday for my husband's birthday. We brought our four kids aged 11-17. They loved it too. Staff were efficient, warm and friendly. Kids had full Irish and, while they were very generous portions, they still scoffed most of it. It is a little pricey and there is no children's menu per se but my kids got a kick out of the ambience and the views. For a special occasion it was great.

    Great place with an amazing view over the city. Food was very nice. Most staff were friendly and professional, only one of the staff members was a bit rude when I payed. Other than that great evening and will definitely come back.

    The food offering on the Menu was very limited. A special or 2 each day would be of help. The service was very poor, it was very slow and our desert order was forgotten about.

    It was still lovely but I was so upset to be sat at the bar strip instead of an actual table when I had booked 2 weeks in advance and also payed a deposit and requested a nice booth. I arrived and was told I didn't have a booking even thought I payed for a deposit, got many confirmation emails and texts and confirmed on all. For some reason it wasn't there? Very disappointing as it was for an important anniversary.
