We were seated quickly and water was provided immediately. Our server was friendly but a bit stressed as they were the only one. Later, a second server arrived and our server immediately became more relaxed and more pleasant. Cocktails were very good and the food as well with the only suggestion is to season the potato salad more as it was bland and nearly tasteless. Dessert was great and extra ice cream added as requested. We never felt rushed or ignored and our server earned a 30% tip. Table was clean as were the menus, silver and glassware. Outdoor dining was excellent with no flying insects. Although cloth napkins were on the table, extra paper should be as well so we wouldn't need to ask. The grounds are beautiful and restrooms clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal experience.

Our food was fresh and delicious. The menu is very limited so I recommend taking a look before you go. The choices worked for us, and the wine list was good. My hamburger was simply amazing, and my husband really enjoyed the hearty stew. The ambience of this small and quiet country restaurant in the Sierras is perfect. Our server was very friendly, helpful and efficient. What more can I say? It was a very positive experience and I highly recommend.

What a great experience. Outdoor dinning. Unique Venison Stroganoff, best ever, very tender tasty venison. Drinks were great. Service was excellent as well. Nest time in area will dine there again. .

Our server Amy was fun and friendly, a joker and confident, rightfully so, with her bartending skills. She makes a mean Old Fashion! The Burgundy stew was like a food hug from your Mama's kitchen, so much love in it! The Venison pasta dish was tender buttery decadence. Sitting outside under the birch trees with live music and cool crisp weather was perfection. Really enjoyed the down to earth vibe.

The food was delicious. I went on my birthday and had many appetizers that were tasty. The waitress was friendly and attentive.

First , service far far above what we usually get. Our waiter was very attentive and cleared things off the table (drink straws). I often set things to the side/end of table to have them taken away. They never are. Our waiter has had some great training which put his service well above the average. Secondly, our food was excellent. Enough said. Prices were fair considering where the Cafe is located. The pricing of our cocktails was a bit strange. Charged for the Rum and the Diet Coke. All in all a great experience.

We love this spot! A killer martini, the crab toast is to die for and, the staff was great! And, we got to walk back to our cool cabin for the night😊
