Soto never disappoints. The absolute best sushi and exquisite specials every day. We love the Kawasaki lunch combo and dinners at Soto are perfect for special occasions. Don’t miss out on the tuna fois gras - it’s heaven in one delicious bite!

I made a reservation several days in advance. It was my husband’s birthday and we live an hour away. I get an email the day of two hours before the reservation saying they are closed during the time of the reservation and could I come 30 minutes earlier. Why let me make the reservation if they are closed? Why wait until day of to let me know? Why not actually pick up the phone and let me know. By the time I saw the email we would have never made it in time. Needless to say they let me down for my husbands birthday.

This is the third time I've dined at Soto Cedar Park and have some impressions: 1) appy's are very small portioned 2) drinks are good, nice selection of beer/wine/sake 3) go for nigiri or rolls that don't have fried components (like tempura) - they are more complex/interesting and multi-dimensional textures 4) have not tried entree's My biggest issue is the price: consistently we have left Soto after dropping around $150/per person (minus drinks). At this price range, there are better, higher end sushi bars/restaurants in Austin. Service is always pretty good.

Fantastic food & atmosphere. I don’t know that I’ll go again on a Friday night as it was completely packed - & I’m very glad we made reservations- but it was wonderful. I think we’ve had better experiences on Tuesday / Thursday nights where there’s been fewer people & our waiter was better able to spend time educating us on the different types of sushi. The previous time we were there it was less crowded & we actually ate & spent more due to the personal attention we received & suggestions given. We absolutely love it & will definitely be back!

Soto is such an amazing restaurant- it might be my favorite. My fiancé and I always have an incredible experience! The food, ambience, and staff are always so very helpful! The sushi, sashimi, and chefs specials are always so on point. I would definitely recommend getting the brussel sprouts, Soto sashimi, chili hamachi, hamachi apple, and getting a chefs special.

Always a pleasure and more than a meal—an experience! We had an incredible time tasting around the menu to introduce our friend to Soto. She said it was the best meal she’s ever had, and this rave carries weight from my major-foodie friend! Some highlights were toro toast, madai crudo, chili hamachi, truffle tuna, lobster tempura, truffle risotto with O-Toro, and ribs. Always with Kirin Ichiban…

We made a reservation for 630 and we’re told that we would have to wait 30 minutes upon arrival. We were sat in the back of the restaurant, which was very cold due to an open door and smell like the bathroom. Our service was great provided by Damien. The kitchen did not bring out. Our eggplant. Roll in the food came out, sporadically and unorganized. Once again, our service was fantastic everything else was not.

I have dined at SOTO many times before and the food is always wonderful. I will dine there again. The only issue I had with this visit was that we had a reservation at 6pm but did not get seated until close to 6:45. I am not sure if they over booked or they had sat people without reservations first but it seemed odd that you would make a reservation and still have to wait for 45min for a table

I went on Valentine’s Day and the food was great as well as our server Kylie W! Kylie was great, super helpful, and incredibly kind. The seating was a bit tight though and the noise was louder than expected, but besides that the service and food was incredible!!
