Great food with a flair of creativity. Strong staff, great atmosphere.
A little loud but the food was great! Next time I’ll get two orders of cauliflower!
Great food ... great service ... BYOB
They moved across the street from the old location. More space and sane great food!
Really good food, menu limited in terms of choice but quality and service excellent. I will be back
A little on the pricey side, which i wouldn't have mind if the wait staff had asked me to box the leftovers.
after we were done wit the dinner, wait staff whisked the left over food and never offered to box it.
This was my first and last visit.
Food is always excellent. This was my first time in their new space, and it is much much “trendier”. I personally prefer a vibe that feels more authentic and less modern. It’s a beautiful space, but I didn’t care for the electronic music or the unexplained dry ice that was brought to our table. But our waiter was great at suggesting things on the menu and everything on the plate was incredible.
Service, ambience and food were great
The most expensive Indian food I have had. Taste was fine, nothing Earth-shattering, and the portion size was just OK. I felt like I was paying for the gimmicky dry ice they placed on the table for the meal.
Great owners, food and staff!
The best Indian restaurant in New Jersey and we have tried all the other contenders.
Had a 7pm reservation, our entrees were served while we were still eating our appetizers. At 8:29 PM, less than 5 minutes after paying our bill, we were told by the female owner, the next table was here and we needed to wrap it up. We said we were just finishing our wine and going. 10 minutes later the male owner came over and said we weren’t waiting on anything else, our check cleared, we needed to go. I said our reservation was at 7 and we have been here just over an hour and a half. He responded with they allot 1-1.5 hours for a table of 3. It’s not a cheap restaurant and to be treated so rudely was very upsetting. We definitely will not be back here or their other restaurant in town.
Some of the tables are quite dark and would benefit from modest task lighting.
Delicious food, presented well, by hospitable staff!
Not your run-of-the-mill Indian restaurant. The menu includes some of the standards but the rest of the menu is much more interesting. The portions were great and we really enjoyed the variety of flavors and textures. Highly recommended!
Was not rushed out so we could enjoy a long dinner with friends!
Good food service and experience. Fun atmosphere.
Food was excellent and we had some specific dietary needs that were handled with care and they did not rush us out. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want really good food and good service.
On Saturday afternoon and they called to cancel my open table reservation for that night saying the didn't have table for four. A couple hours later manger called saying they had cancellation so we went. It was 70% full but didn't feel crowded. It was loud, and hard to talk. The service was ok. It was dark. They took our order and food came out less than 10 minutes later... We were not in a rush but getting the food that fast made it feel very rushed and it was clear that they had scooped it out of a pre prepared pot and not made any of it to order... Which is ok but again we felt rushed. We were in and out in less than an hour for 100 bucks for 4 very basic meals that had been prepared ahead.. Tikka Masala, lentils etc. Staff seemed stretched thin or just not attentive.. not sure. Indian food is spicy and it was tough to get water refill. I won't be back for dinner with the family..loud and dark and rushed but I'll be back for lunch when it is not at all crowed and so loud, brighter and staff can handle 5 tables.
My husband and I loved our date here! AMAZING food, and really great value, especially considering the upscale ambience and creative takes on traditional dishes.
The ambience was excellent and the service matched up. We liked the food as well but there was variation in the quality of food. For example, the Daal tadka seemed not so freshly made. But overall the place is great. For those looking for specific recommendations, I would recommend go for non vegetarian items rather than the veg ones.
The absolute worst service I have ever experienced and my husband and I dine out at restaurants on all levels. The manager nor the wait staff
First time dining at Spice Bazaar in their new locations. It is way bigger and way more energetic....at a New York City type restaurant/ lounge level.
The food was very good...we went traditional with Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Vindaloo and Lentils and a little aggressive with Grilled Octopus.
Service was efficient albeit fast.. We felt a little rushed.
The food was excellent. However, be aware if you have food allergies. The waiter had stated that there were some dishes that he claimed were nut free but in the end, was not so not all of us were able to enjoy the meal. They should be more accurate when the order is taken.
Food was very flavorful, but restaurant was a bit too noisy
The service was outstanding- both friendly and prompt. Everything was delicious but the lamb saag and cauliflower appetizer is a must.
