We really enjoyed the Date Night menu. Great perk at the fantastic restaurant.
Food was terrible the lamb wasn’t seasoned at all. The drinks were good and our service from Domonique was great but the Mac and cheese was dry like they gave me old Mac and cheese and only gave me about 2 oz of calamari. Was not worth the $300 bill
I booked STK for my birthday dinner because I’ve seen how special it is for others but that wasn’t my experience!
I got no sparklers. Wasn’t offered or asked for dessert. Waitress didn’t say bye. Brought out a card reader for 8 people and took payment one at a time. Asked how much for tip as she stood over. Had an attitude most of the time. Horrible experience besides the guy checking in. He got us the private room and already had decor. Everything else no!
6 of us went for a business meal. Final ticket was $800 after having 1 meal comped (they forgot it). It took them over 2 hours to serve us dinner. Extremely slow. Some of the food was next level, other food was over cooked and disappointing (calimari, 2 steaks). We won’t be going back.
Music too loud to talk.. drinks took way too long every time we tried to order. 5 steaks were ordered and every one was over cooked. They did take a some , but when you go to spend that kind of money on a meal you don’t want money off, you want it right. Too many things wrong or bad.
Service was slow and hard to come by. Food was very slow to be served. Drinks at the table took at least 15-25 minutes to receive. Food was 4 out of 5 stars. Very loud club type of environment and not romantic in in way so ambience is 2 out of 5 stars.
……… Sat down at 8:15pm. Got food at 10:30pm. Instead of discounting the ENTIRE TAB (including alcohol) had to pay for the drinks. Went on a Sunday evening. Horrible experience. Click picture for details….
Good food, good music, good service. All around great experience.
Great food and service. Loved it! Will highly recommend.
Service was great. Food was good.
Lots of great music.
Didn’t even get a chance to sit very disorganized had us waiting over 20 min even with reservations will not be coming back
Everything was 5 STARRRR. Food was amazing. I would recommend to everybody 😝
There was not a long wait for our table, and the waitress was very knowledgeable about the steak & wine combinations. The DJ had the perfect era of music playing all night.
This restaurant was overrated from my experience. The tables were so close together even the smallest person wouldn’t be able to squeeze through without hitting the table next to them. It was more of a quantity over quality with the way they have it. I had the salmon meal with broccolini and I added creamed spinach. My fiancé had the surf and turf with prawns and bacon mac. We also ordered a bottle of Riesling. We flew in from Detroit to come there and the spinach, broccolini, and wine were the only things we were satisfied with. I liked the bread as well. We felt rushed the whole time. Ppl were coming trying to grab stuff off of our table before we finished and most times w/o asking. We would have to say we weren’t finished with it. We’ve been to many steakhouses like Eddie V’s, London chop house, Eddie Merlots, and j. Alexander and by far this was the worse. Especially for $235. It wasn’t an experience like most places of this stature it was more of a nightclub feel. We could’ve had dinner at Puttshack had I known it was like this. Also for the money they charge to add bacon to the Mac it should’ve been added all through it and not just the top like garnish. I still tipped the waitress $65 she was nice. I received a text saying my table was ready and still had to wait to be seated, after our reservation time.
This is a must if you visit Atlanta. Very elegant and the food is delicious. Great customer service!!!
Good food. Great experience. Pricey. Special occasion = worth it
We tried out STK for my husband’s birthday on an attempt to switch it up from our normal steakhouse haunts. While the sides were good, they came out cold. The steaks were overpriced and also were not served so that they remained hot (I.e. on a piping hot plate). They also served our steak pre-sliced which is a tragedy because it accelerates the timeline for eating the steak before it cools/dries out. This place should be a choice (a la Ruth’s Chris or Capital Grille) not a prime steak house. I would not seek it out but if a friend or work was having an event I would go.
My husband and I visited STK for the first time. We didn’t like how all of the booths were so close and faced each other. There was no privacy. I specifically asked our server to bring my salad as an appetizer BEFORE my entree, and asked if there would be bread before our meal. He agreed to both. Our entrees arrived first. When we were halfway finished, our salads arrived, and then we had to ask again for our bread. While salmon wasn’t too bad, it seemed like $40 frozen salon with store bought sauce. And the Caesar dressing wreaked of vinegar. While we were eating, a large party was seated at the table across from us us, and they hovered closely and loudly over our food until they were seated. Then they kept getting up to allow late comers into their booth, and they kept hovering over our table. We rushed through our backwards, over-priced, but mediocre dinner, and then went somewhere nice for dessert and drinks. Overall, it seems like a place for younger adults who want to listen to hip-hop music. It didn’t have the upscale, sophisticated vibe it gives on the website at all.
I came here for my dinner before my commitment ceremony. I was disappointed that people were dressed in tennis shoes and jeans. On the website it stated it was a dress code so I thought it would be fine wearing our evening gowns inside. For the price of the food you would think slacks, dress shoes and button ups would be enforced as a dress code. People were in there looking like they did indeed walk off the streets. I also didn’t like that the bathroom is so small and got crowded easily. I will not be coming bk here for any of my evening dinners again.
Zack was wonderful
Took almost an hour to get a table even though I made a reservation. Other than that, it was an amazing experience.
First time here for a birthday dinner , Reservation was at 8:30 didn’t sit down until 9:35 .Service was slow. Waitress was nice but unattentitive. No refills on drinks. Steak was overcooked, sides came after everyone was finished eating , asked to see a manager several times no one came. When bills came it was a complete mess. Waited over an hour just to pay for the meal. Not a good experience.
When having big parties they need to make it a away each individual has its own ticket… everyone paid for there food… whoever I was stuck with a 250$ gratuity bill…
The steak was awesome! Drinks were sweet and more for the younger crowd (we are 50). Ceviche was delicious just wish it was served with a wedge of lime. We were so full we didn’t eat dessert. Romantic tables even if music was loud. Enjoyed the experience overall.
Date night with husband. No special occasion. Friday and enjoying life!
Birthday dinner. Food was great. But our waitress left a lot to be desired. She was a bit moody.
Nice ambiance. Service was great. The music was nice.
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at STK. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience, from the moment we entered the restaurant from the time we left everyone was so nice and friendly…and the food was delicious.
It was great
Poor service, rude server, very unprofessional, rushing us, we are not half way through the meal she brought checks and Togo boxes, we requested for Receipt after payment she never showed up again and was imposing tips on us. Very horrible service
The best restaurant I’ve been to in a while. Food is amazing, waitress are super sweet and helpful even the atmosphere was wonderful
I found the service here very good and attentive but the devil is in the details. VERY loud blaring music speaker over our head. Asked several times to get it turned down to no avail. Client dinner and we were practically screaming at each other to talk. Very hard to even hear the server talk as well.
Side fries were undercooked and terrible at best. Steaks were outstanding and cooked just right.
Overall I would not revisit this restaurant due to the noise and IMHO, the price value equation is way out of whack. VERY expensive with questionable value.
Excellent service. Food was superb. A little crowded/noisy, with proximity of other diners.
They weren't very busy at the time I went, however I barely saw my server. I can only imagine how ghost the servers are when it's busy if it's this poor when they're not. $35 lousy crab cake that was the size of a quarter. The bread is worth more than that! Well I was there for my birthday. Nothing. However they brought a drink and sparkler for the person sitting across from me to recognize his birthday. The salmon, Mac and cheese and mushrooms were good. Server lied and said the drinks were strong. They weren't. Felt like I was drinking juicy juice out of a martini glass. Oh and then after a $300 bill they expect you to box your own food. Lol! Trash
Beautiful ambiance, great music, delicious food, pleasant staff!
Everything was outstanding—from the restaurant to the service. Our server, Isaiah, went over the items on the menu with us; and recommended a great selection. He even went as far as bringing my friend a “sparkler” in celebration of her birthday. Will definitely be dining here again.
The service was amazing. My food tasted kind of bland though, which is the first time that’s ever happened. I got the Truffle Steak & Eggs.
Overall the food was good. The service was slow and under staffed. For the price, there should be several servers per table. We were celebrating our 1 year anniversary and the music was loud and without direction.
I also was lost on why everyone wanted to know the occasion we were there. When we checked in, we told the receptionist why we were there and she gave us a sheet of paper to read letting us know that we could only sit for 90 mins to eat. We were asked again by the next station, also the person that sat us, and then our server.I thought we would get a complimentary dessert, a manager’s congratulations, something. Our server informed us that they don’t do that but did bring us a complimentary glass of champagne after we’d paid the bill and was leaving.
The drinks aren’t good. We ordered our go to drink : a Moscow Mule. I don’t know what beer they added but it wasn’t ginger beer. We told our server that they weren’t good and chose margaritas instead. We figured it was simple to make and hard to mess up. We were wrong. The drink was way too sweet and at this point it was time to leave. No need to send it back again. At least they were better than the mules
The price isn’t a problem when all the boxes are checked, but I left feeling like we could’ve gotten good food, bad service, bad ambience, bad atmosphere , and bad drinks at an Outback Steakhouse.
This is not a place for an intimate occasion but may work for a night out with the girls or fellas and you want some decent food and nothing else matters.
The overall 2 stars is because the food was good, but not enough to make me want to go back.
For our 10th STK location, we enjoyed it as much as the other 9! Our Server Matt made it even more enjoyable
Looking forward to our next STK dining experience.
All steaks had a fishy taste. Food pretty much left untouched. $80 gratuity already included for 5 people so no wonder server probably not very interested in experience or why food was uneaten. Very sad to spend $500 to all leave hungry after a half hour or more wait — with reservations. Too noisy for conversation among family or with server. :(
