   We were very happy with our last minute reservation midweek. Our meal was very tasty we had the 3 course option from the set menu. There was plenty of lovely options to choose from. We got a lovely seat at the window and found the service to be excellent. We love eating at the Stockhouse

   Good welcome and very good service - poor table as only two of us and in a flow area of staff and customers. Poor starters but excellent steaks and desserts. Cocktails pricy for a regional town. Overall we will return.

   We had a nice time and food was lovely however I was a little disappointed overall. It was a special occasion as I mentioned and our table was right in front of the kitchen, as a result it was very hot and smokey. Two of the girls left before desert as it was too much for them. There was not enough staff to cater for everyone, we constantly had to stop, interrupt and call staff when we needed anything, I asked for the bill 3 times. Finally though and the worst thing was the QR code menu.... Why??? It took ages to load our WiFi. Everyone hated it. Eventually we gsve up and didn't even look at it. It would stop me coming back as the last thing I want to do when out for a meal with people is to be stuck on my phone. I could never bring my parents, it would wreck their head and they're only in their 60s and tech minded but I know it would annoy them. We were all in our 40s and it annoyed us. There is no need for it, just give people a menu. Apologies if I sound harsh but I just expected better so it was a little disappointing.

   It was our first time at the stockhouse in trim. A friend recommended it to us. We really enjoyed it. The food was amazing. Staff were very friendly. Place was clean. Will 100% be back again soon.

   The Stockhouse is our favourite restaurant and as usual it didn't disappoint. The food was amazing,the staff were friendly and attentive. We always have a lovely evening there.

    Food was delicious and presentation good. Service was prompt & and we got a lovely welcome. One of our party had dietary requirements and the chef & staff were accommodating. We enjoyed our visit to this very popular restaurant and look forward to a return visit.

    Fantastic service as always at the StockHouse from Carmel and the team. The quality of the steak was really top notch. I enjoyed a delicious old fashioned to start my evening off. We always enjoy going here and it never lets us down. Warm friendly attentive service in a great atmosphere , what more could you want!

    We stopped by for starters and sticky toffee pudding. We want to return to try out the sizable mains from the grill that we saw from the next table over. The staff are kind and accommodating, the service is good and you are well placed for a nice walk by the castle ruins.

    This was my first visit to The Stockhouse and wow what fabulous food. Eveyone of us said the main course was outstanding and then dessert arrived and it was out of this world. Service was excellent and the whole experience was a delight. It was so good we've booked to go back :)

    The quality of the food was disappointing. My starter which was potato skins was bland and lacked flavour. The steak I ordered was one of the worst steaks for flavour I’ve ever eaten which is disappointing. My girlfriend ordered a chicken curry for her main and the sauce tasted like something out of a jar. Overall, the food was very poor for the price we paid. The staff were lovely and it’s a nice restaurant but not worth a further visit.

    The Stockhouse is by far our favourite restaurant when we visit Trim. We live abroad but always make it our business to visit when we get back to see family. The ease of booking, the welcome and the tables, almost semi private are absolutely brilliant. The service is friendly and quick. The food is stunning, the wings are so good! Steak as always, cooked to perfection with mushrooms and onions as standard, and the garlic potato’s… WOW! The desserts are fabulous. Prosecco was lovely, Rioja went great with wine, coffee was delicious with the pavlova. Honestly, we love it here and look forward to our next visit. Thanks to all the stock house team.

    The noise was ridiculous this evening. My husband and I found ourselves having to shout to be heard. Our order was completely messed up to the point my husband got the entirely wrong steak and the incorrect size. I was charged for items I never received. They charged €16 for a Long Island iced tea, I’ve never paid that anywhere in Ireland……No input from management and no refund or refunded on anything that was wrong. Very disappointing.
