   The quality of the food was disappointing. My starter which was potato skins was bland and lacked flavour. The steak I ordered was one of the worst steaks for flavour I’ve ever eaten which is disappointing. My girlfriend ordered a chicken curry for her main and the sauce tasted like something out of a jar. Overall, the food was very poor for the price we paid. The staff were lovely and it’s a nice restaurant but not worth a further visit.

   The Stockhouse is by far our favourite restaurant when we visit Trim. We live abroad but always make it our business to visit when we get back to see family. The ease of booking, the welcome and the tables, almost semi private are absolutely brilliant. The service is friendly and quick. The food is stunning, the wings are so good! Steak as always, cooked to perfection with mushrooms and onions as standard, and the garlic potato’s… WOW! The desserts are fabulous. Prosecco was lovely, Rioja went great with wine, coffee was delicious with the pavlova. Honestly, we love it here and look forward to our next visit. Thanks to all the stock house team.

   The noise was ridiculous this evening. My husband and I found ourselves having to shout to be heard. Our order was completely messed up to the point my husband got the entirely wrong steak and the incorrect size. I was charged for items I never received. They charged €16 for a Long Island iced tea, I’ve never paid that anywhere in Ireland……No input from management and no refund or refunded on anything that was wrong. Very disappointing.
