– “where sunshine spends the winter” – also known as Tex-Mex cuisine served in an Old-West-inspired atmosphere alongside music inspired by Austin.

The cuisine is a combination of 1950s Tex-Mex and the wood grill that has taken the food to another level by way of fajitas and more. An “evolved Tex-Mex menu,” includes the classics: tacos, nachos, tamales and enchiladas plus more intricate dishes such as wood-grilled fajitas and shrimp tacos always served with just-made flour tortillas, all while paying homage to the traditions and recipes that have been a part of the Texas culture for decades.

Server was very nice but did not clear dishes and kept forgetting what we asked for. Also drinks took forever and did not come until after we started eating

Great menu. Food and drinks were all very good. Service excellent.One suggestion would be to box up leftovers for us. Trying to get fajitas and all the extras in a box with little to no room in the table and in nice clothes is not fun. Assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

We were seated on time. The server asked if we were celebrating anything. Our party enjoyed great drinks and good food. We did not feel rushed. The service was excellent.

The food was amazing as always. Waitress was a little slow, but she did have a lot of tables she was responsible for. Other team members helped bring food out; some more friendly than others. The music was extremely loud, on top of a crowded restaurant I could see how this type setting could be overstimulating for some kids and even adults.

Good environment - food was really salty, every dish was over poured on salt so it was hard to eat

The tacos were greasy and caused the shell to get soggy. However, the tamales and enchiladas were great.

Ford Fry has established a cult-like following for good reason: the man knows good food. Superica is hands down my favorite Mexican chain. Unpretentious and accessible, this Cary - Fenton location is a gift to the Triangle and a must-do for both residents and visitors of the area. Pro-tip: don’t count them out for brunch!!!
