    Have been here for coffees in the morning which I love, tried the wine bar menu for the first time. Staff were friendly, easy to book a table and we had a lovely evening for sitting outside. Charcuterie board had an unusually but delicious selection of meats, cheeses were standard. Ordered the bread and dips too, bread wasn’t as advertised but still a nice sourdough. For the price of food, a bit more bread and crackers could be provided but overall experience was very positive and would recommend for a chilled evening meet up

    The wine list that was on menu was not the one that they had available, so they put a paper sheet whit the wines, but didn’t tell us that those are the ones that were actually available so we ended up choosing from the menu just to be told that the wine was actually not available. We ordered the charcuterie and cheese board but they did not give us any cutlery, despite the two small cheese knives that come with the board, and and just a few (very few!) crackers, so we had to pick things from the board and eat with our own hands, a little weird if your are sharing food with your friends as it was the case. Also, the price is higher if compared with other places in Dublin in the north side/north city center that offers the same type of food. The two girls working there were nice and polite, so they are definitely not the ones to be blamed for our not as that good experience.

    Very small charcuterie board for two people and tiny wine selection. Charging 6 .95 and 7.95 for crackers. Ridiculous.

    Thank you for your feed back . We appreciate it , We are currently adding wines to our wine menu each week as we are only up and running as a wine bar quit recently , hopefully once our wine menu expands you will return and try them :) Also we are waiting on our new expansion of a kitchen so we out source our charcuterie and cheese boards from a Michelin star recommended restaurant as we only accept top quality items here.     We had such a wonderful time at Surge. The service was excellent. When we arrived they were still setting up our table so they gave us complimentary prosecco and we sat at the high stools, a lovely touch. We then sat at our table and the server was friendly and helpful to us when choosing from the menu. We got to taste the two white wines before choosing a bottle. The wine was delicious! We also ordered a charcuterie and cheese board with a selection of crackers and dips. All perfectly paired with the wine. We sat outside with a view of the seafront and had an amazing evening. Will absolutely be back!

    We had such a fantastic evening last Thursday. It was a lovely sunny evening so the staff had no issue when I requested to move our table outside. The service was great, so friendly, helpful and attentive. Gave sample of wines when we weren’t sure what to choose. The wines were really good and the cheese and charcuterie board was amazing. We will be back for sure!!
