Sushi Cafe is an Asian fusion restaurant specializing in specialty sushi rolls, nigiri and sashimi. Owned and operated by Jacky Lei, who received formal training by a notable Japanese sushi chef, Sushi Cafe is now managed by his daughter, Garmyn. Today, Lei's son Aaron often handles the head sushi chef role where he works to create dishes that combine modern sushi flavors and techniques with traditional Japanese dishes. Located in the Renton Highlands just southeast of downtown Seattle, Sushi Cafe strives to serve dishes that are reminiscent of the Lei family's childhood, using fresh fish that is delivered each morning. Visitors can choose from a variety of options including sashimi, nigiri, Maki rolls and gunkan, and signature specialty options like the bloody Mary, Captain Crunch and scandalous rolls. When visiting the Renton Highlands, chef Aaron invites guests to discover made-to-order nigiri and sashimi, as well as a variety of traditional kitchen dishes.
