First of all, I would like to apologize for late with my friend. There were only two of us that afternoon. When we arrived, the chef told us that we should not be late in the future. I acknowledged that we were in the wrong and apologized, saying, “I know, I’m sorry,” and even intended to leave a more generous tip. However, the chef responded in a very mean way, saying, “You don’t know.” :) Yes, it was exactly that kind of tone where a customer gets scolded in person and made to feel embarrassed. His facial expression was unpleasant throughout the entire experience. The whole meal lasted only about 45 minutes. Everything was served extremely quickly, leaving us with almost no opportunity to enjoy the experience. The female server also had absolutely no expression on her face throughout the meal and honestly looked rather unfriendly. Everything, including how quickly the bill was brought to us, gave us the impression that they wanted us to finish and leave as soon as possible. Another thing I found strange was that they apparently couldn’t give change when paying in cash. We were expected to pay a rounded amount? I’ve never encountered this at other restaurants before. Finally, we asked the chef if he could take a photo of my friend and me together. Throughout the entire process, he kept commenting on how the background we chose didn’t look good. Literally, the entire time he was taking our picture, he kept saying it looked bad! When we asked him which angle he thought would look better, he couldn’t even give us an answer. There were only two walls and two possible backgrounds in the restaurant, Honestly, it felt like we paid money just to be treated badly. In the end, I didn’t argue with them because I acknowledged that we were at fault for arriving late. However, the experience was so disappointing that I left a 10% tip. To be honest, I didn’t even want to leave a tip at all.

The fish are really fresh and delicious. The flounder is the best of all, especially when the chef adds a bit of sourness to balance it.

Amazing Omakase experience. The presentation traditional and beautiful. The little surprises from the chef and staff through out dinner made our dinner memorable. The dishes were fresh, top notch and worth coming back. Thank you Chef Teo, we will be coming back.

Amazing experience here for Sunday lunch. Excellent food. I would say portion is adequate for lunch. Star of the lunch is the chef. Very friendly (unlike many other omakase places), non intimidating and genuinely cares about his craft. Highly recommend.
