Located in San Francisco's wonderful Mission District, Tawla serves Eastern Mediterranean food that stays true to its origin. Our menu, changing daily, is focused on the less known edibles of the region, traditionally prepared at home. Bringing forth the common cuisine of Turkey, Greece, the Levant and Iran, a commonality driven by regional proximity and a shared history. Our dishes are made with seasonal produce, and locally sourced, sustainibly raised and caught meats and seafood.

For parties of 6 -9 ppl, we exclusively offer one of our set menus: Feast Menu at $39 pp and Sofra Menu at $49 pp. For parties of 10-15, we exclusively serve our $49 Sofra menu. Please call to inquire about private events of 16+

For all parties of 5+ we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of $30 per person for all cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows. This includes same day reservations.

Restaurant is closed open table did not let me know and it was only by accident that we discovered we did not have a reservation for dinner that night despite getting a reservation confirmation email the day before

Best friend just moved to SF. Had to take her here. One of the best Mediterranean restaurants ever. A gem that should be celebrated.

We were very underwhelmed with the food. It was a really cool vibe but the food ended up being a let down. The memes were good but the lamb meatballs, brussel sprouts and lamb sausage did not have good flavors

This place never fails to deliver. Do the tasting menu it is absolutely worth it and makes for a wonderful experience. The food is always changing, creative, healthy, and super delicious. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable.

Food was excellent, but staff was clearly spread too thin for a busy Thursdah night. Took awhile to get our initial order and wine, but once the food started coming it arrived in decently rapid sequence.
