Food was very average bistro style and even inedible. Service was very poor and didmt listen to requests. Music from TVs was loud and random and interrupted by ads. Overall, a very bad expensive experience.

We went here for my friends birthday dinner after reading the great reviews and being convinced by the Nuuk my looking food pics. Overall it was OKAY If you like a really casual restaurant, but we thought it would be slightly more on the dressy side. However most people on the restaurant were wearing sports tshirts and the chairs were very cafe esque. We had a couple of issues with our food and drinks too. They got our order wrong and we had to send things back, all the food arrived at different times (10 min differences) as well as cocktails taking 40 minutes to come because they had an issue with the bartender. It definitely was an okay restaurant, the food was nice enough and was a good price for the temple bar area. But I don’t think we’ll be returning anytime soon.

To be completely honest, the low score is because of the service. The food was good, and the environment was cute. The service was so lacking that it completely ruined the evening. I don’t like giving low scores to restaurants because of the servers, but they were so inattentive and rude I feel this is warranted.

Recommend! We were shocked to be able to get a table for 8 on a Saturday night with only a few hours’ notice, so we kept our expectations in check, but wow, we we pleasantly surprised— this place was fantastic! Pretty, modern setting with delicious food. It is below the hotel, and you walk through a nice lobby to reach the dining area. Recommend everything we had Starters—artichokes, burrata, mushrooms and the carpaccio—all were very tasty. Mains- lasagna and the mushroom pasta/orzo dish were stand-outs. Greek Salad was fresh. The prices were reasonable for the heart of Temple Bar. Only one thing to note. The menu offered primavera beans, but we received peas.

This place is a surprising gem -- we were a table of 10 and the staff were accommodating at getting us all set. The meals were all very good, and we would recommend it!

For a very nice looking hotel / restaurant, we were the only guests at dinner which didn't make for a great atmosphere. The service we good to start, but found we were trying to get the attention of the staff chatting away for a while. We ordered the Gnocchi, which wasn't to our preference, very bitter. After we asked for the food to be taken from the table as it wasn't enjoyable, ordered a side of chips, and asked for extra dipping sauce, which took about 15min to come after the chips arrived as the waiter and chef sat chatting. The waitress shouted out to make 1 espresso cocktail, which we presumed was going to be on the house due to unenjoyable meal, but that never even came, and there were 2 of us that were not happy with the food. We didn't expect a discount or anything, but no effort was made to try and improve our experience at all. Lovely hotel, not so great restaurant. Although, the highlight was a very well made and tasty espresso martini for 13euros.

Temple Bar Inn was lovely. I was worried it’d be too loud being in such a lively part of Dublin, but I slept with the window open and it wasn’t loud at all. The rooms were small, but cute and clean! Great location and great price. The staff was also super helpful and the food at the restaurant was great. I was surprised not many people were eating in there. I’d stay again!

Restaurant in the basement of hotel. Virtually no one there for dinner. Food was decent. Prices higher than what we paid elsewhere in Ireland. Biggest thing going for it was that it was a cool restaurant on a warm day in Dublin. If temps not an issue, find a place on Fleet Street with a bit more ambiance.

This is a new place and it was awesome. Food was amazing. Service great. We chatted with the chef Roberto and he was incredible. Such great passion for flavor. Go to this place it is absolutely worth it.

We went to the Temple Bar Inn on our honeymoon and we were greeted with flowers at our table and glasses of Prosecco! We walked in awe of the decor and ambiance set and the chef himself saw to it that we were delivered a beautiful meal. I am so pleased we chose to have our last dinner of the trip there and it made me consider booking our stay at the hotel attached for our next trip. Get in while you can before it explodes with reservations!

The restaurant is new and we were told it had just opened when we visited it during our stay at the Temple Bar Inn. It’s set in the basement of the hotel (very spacious with a funky decor, but somewhat dark). Notwithstanding some teething issues, our meal was magnificent! The vegan Orzotto was beautifully presented and tasted divine. We’ll be back!
