   Extremely attentive and friendly service in comfortable surroundings. The sandwiches were superb, the cakes very good, but the scones were a little dry. The staff were all lovely and very efficient. Overall, very pleased and a lovely treat!

   The Atrium is beautiful, we were in a side room which was equally as lovely. The presentation of the food was lovely and for the most part it was tasty. At 62EUR per person, it is a premium priced Afternoon Tea. There was plenty of food, we ended up bringing a lot of it home. Overall good, just expensive for what it is.

   We booked afternoon tea in the Atrium for Mother's Day as a treat for our Mam & Nan. The location is amazing, so central, the hotel is beautiful and the ambience when you enter the Atrium is fabulous! The decor is so pretty and the glass ceiling gives so much light! Our server, Bart, was amazing, he was super attentive and friendly - which really does make all the difference in an experience like this. All of the staff we encountered were pleasant, friendly and helpful. The food was gorgeous, such good quality and so aesthetically presented on the afternoon tea trays. We thoroughly enjoyed every part of our experience. It is obviously on the higher end of the price scale, which is to be expected with a 5 star hotel, so it really is a treat!

    The vegan menu is absolutely atrocious, they hadn’t even bothered to supply vegan scones despite the fact I’d booked a week in advance, they replaced the scones with 2 brownies without discussing it or notifying us so therefore we had now 7 cakes on our stand and very basic and very small open “sandwiches” 3 to be exact. The staff were very apologetic to be fair & had said they had told the manager before, I had read reviews after I booked and they all more or less said the same but I wanted to give them a chance. To my amazement reviews were true. However we did speak with the manager and she did apologize and offered us not to pay and to take the food away with us, we declined and we did get a free drink in the Mint Bar as a good will gesture. But 5 star it is not..

    The afternoon tea was amazing from the ambience to food. The only disappointing thing was when we asked the waiter ess to have the rest of the food to go. I wanted to try the dessert later at home but the waitress just randomly mixed the leftovers without asking. That way I only tried 2 tiers out of 3 which was a bit disappointing for €82.

    I would go to the Westin about 2-3 times per year for afternoon tea. On this occasion it was not at the standard I have experienced on previous visits.

    Afternoon Tea tasted absolutely. But the service was atrocious and shockingly disappointing from a 5 star hotel. There were 5 of us having afternoon tea and only enough for 2 was brought out, we said it to the waiter who then returned 20 mins later with the other 3 lots. We had asked for water 5 times before it was brought down. Our drinks order was incorrect. The bill was incorrect and we waited over 30 mins for someone to return to rectify. When fresh coffees were brought out we had to ask waiter to clear the table of the old/empty cups. Just very disappointing service from a 5 star hotel.

    Food was very nice, but the service was very very poor. Most definitely not a 5 star service No milk or sugar given to us for the tea and coffee, we were left waiting when we asked for it and it was nearly cold by the time we received them. We then went to have the scones and we had to ask for butter and jam, again we were left waiting, they did apologise stating it was very busy and offered 3 cocktails. We ordered more tea and coffee and never received the coffee. Very disappointing as it was a birthday treat.

    A lovely afternoon was had, however given the cost of afternoon tea felt it wasn't the best value for money as we were waiting almost 40 mins for our food to arrive and we were hungry! The staff did apologise for the delay as it was very busy and were lovely. One more bit of feedback I'd have is maybe to give obviously pregnant women a choice of where to sit, we were put sitting in a booth and I had no back support and left with some back pain. I know I should have spoken up when I saw we were being brought to a booth but hadn't thought of it until later.

    Afternoon Tea in the Atrium Lounge is a real treat. Delicious selection of sandwiches, scones and pastries accompanied by choice of teas and coffees served in beautiful, relaxed setting. Excellent professional service delivered by Helena. Would highly recommend to celebrate a special event.

    We went to Dublin for our 50th wedding anniversary and had high tea at the atrium lounge. It was magnificent!! The staff was so gracious and so attentive. They remembered our anniversary and sent us a sweet message at our table. I highly recommend the experience. The food was fantastic! 10 stars!!!

    Advised on booking it was a special occasion & Requested happy birthday message for my mam but she wasn’t given anything ..went to the shelbourne last year and service , food & overall afternoon tea was much more impressive then the Westin. Both are similar priced… Asked did they do non alcoholic cocktails and was told yeah but was given no menu just asked was something fruity ok.

    I enjoyed my first afternoon tea. The savoury items were the star of the show - especially the chicken on foccacia bread! The sweets were also delicious. I would definitely recommend this place!

    Booked for my birthday. On arrival shown to an ante room off the atrium where the noise levels were deafening from a large table of women sat the length of the room. We're ignored for 32 minutes. Flagged a waiter down and asked for a menu. After another wait was given a menu with a big streak of jam down it. Asked for a clean menu waiter disappeared for a further 10 minutes. Table was was too small to be comfy for 4 people. The addition of a tablecloth meant the Delph was in danger of flying off the table if any of our party wanted to use the facilities. After a further wait placed order for 3 afternoon teas with champers one veggie afternoon tea. We're left waiting again and the food finally arrived without the veggie sambos. A further wait ensued for these plus missing champagne. At this stage it was 630 and we'd been there since 5. Food was very nice on arrival. There was one chicken toast I requested another to be told the kitchen was closed! In a five star hotel,ridiculous. Loose tea arrived without strainers, one tiny pot of jam for 4 people and a wait for another, milk had to be requested, water waa ordered and never arrived. It was obvious that the service was poor as the very nice manager gave us a glass of prosecco to make up for it. I was sorry to have suggested this and I felt stressed at my own birthday celebrations. Overall a very poor experience for 82 euro pp.

    Despite being seated quickly upon arrival and plenty of staff I waited thirty minutes without being offered a drink. I eventually had to summon staff to take my lunch and drink order. The food, a crab brioche roll, came and was not in a brioche roll but rather a tasteless long bread roll. Staff were friendly but not proactive with service.

    We enjoyed afternoon tea in a really relaxing setting. The layout of the lounge was very well thought-out, beautifully decorated and with plenty of room at the table and between tables. Even though it was a busy afternoon, the staff were very attentive and friendly. And there was a good variety of food to cater for every taste and dietary requirement.

    Booked Afternoon Tea for my friend’s birthday on NYE and it was fabulous. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious. It was a lovely relaxed atmosphere in beautiful surroundings. I would highly recommend it to anyone and we will definitely go back again.

    I was disappointed with the Atrium this year. Having been there before Covid and found it really good value I was looking forward to returning. Unfortunately I thought the afternoon tea was very poor value. The venue is lovely, staff helpful the food is ok but not enough for the price.

    The setting and ambience was lovely. Over all the atmosphere was lovely and festive. It would have been nice to have some background Christmas music. The food was nicely presented and plenty of it. We were a party of and could not finish it all. It would have been better to have more sandwiches and savoury food. There was a lot of sweet pastries etc which were left behind. We were all hungry and more sandwiches would have been appreciated. The staff were very pleasant under pressure. Only complaint is the there was €46 added as “ TIP “ automaticity on to the bill. We were not made aware that this would be the case. We would have been quite happy to leave a gratuity in any case but would like to have been informed.
