   Amazing food and superb service from knowledgeable staff from start to finish. The cocktails are great and with wines supplied by Corney & Barrow you can’t go wrong!! A really nice buzz about the place but never too noisy.

   A quiet lunchtime sitting. Having said that the way it’s set out you were lost as to wether others were around you or not. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Food excellent. Will return soon. Looking forward to experiencing the evening menu and wine list.

   The bistro is a lovely friendly atmosphere and staff. However we were disappointed with the soup and sandwich combo. The soup was tasty but Luke warm and the bread was a bit hard and too thick. Glasses of wine were expensive.

   The Bistro offers an excellent range at an affordable price - we asked for an affogato at the end of the evening even though it wasn't on the desert menu and it was no problem. Totally recommend.

    Another great meal in this cosy restaurant! Homemade bread, a delicious menu and a great selection of Corney & Barrow wines, reasonably priced. Service was impeccable and efficient. Thanks again for a lovely meal

    Small, intimate and well furnished bistro. Friendly and efficient staff but most importantly great food. We were a table of 8 moaning and hard to please golfers but everyone was happy and complimentary about their choice of starters and mains. Great value and good drinks selection too.

    A great deal of thought creativity and skill is evident in every dish. Bravo! Delicate and carefully combined flavours made the evening a delight, from the creative cocktails to the starters and mains, we couldn't resist staying for a puddings and port. I look forward to next time.

    Outstanding soup starter and imaginative desert topped and tailed a thoroughly good meal. Nice ambience and great mocktails. £100 for two with several drinks is very fair for food of this standard.

    Thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Staff were brilliant, especially Amanda who was so welcoming, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. Food and atmosphere top notch…would totally recommend this new wee gem of a place. Loved it!

    Lovely ambience and staff apart from one grumpy waiter - disappinted to be told NO muscles available! Thats the main thing we went for. So we got lamb dish instead which was mediocre and carrots were very undercooked practically raw! Far too expensive!

    We had a wonderful meal last night. The menu choice is excellent and a different selection to the dishes in many other restaurants in the town. Our meal was delicious, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Excellent addition to the town.
