    The food and set up with the tables were very good. Restrooms were very clean and modern. And the service was excellent (although this event was a buffet).

    I thought they did a great job fourth of July. They had chowder mussels, lobster, three kinds of salads, corn, pasta, salad, and desserts. The only thing was the tables were crowded with 10 people. Would’ve been better eight to a table. Servers were great always kept the water filled. At some points there were lines at the food and bar, but not bad. It was hot, but that was the day.

    The food was delicious despite probably being cooked off site, especially the crab puffs, lobster and the chicken. We had a very attentive waitress but it didn't seem like management had sorted out bussing of dirty dishes as people were stacking them on high tops and elsewhere and since this was a buffet, multiple dishes were inevitable. It was unbearably hot but I'm not sure what Bohlin could have done about that in a tent in the midst of a heat wave.

    Really bad experience, it was boiling hot and we were cooking in the plastic tent. I think there was maybe 4 fans, the staff were all red faced and sweating. There was 1 bar and only 4 bar tenders (not very good ones) worst martini I’ve ever had, especially for the price I couldn’t even drink it. The event was affiliated with castle hill so we thought it was going to be nice and I’m shocked at what it was. It felt like a cheap wedding reception. Would highly not recommend.

    For a Newport Restaurant Group event this was “meh” with no depth. The food was highlighted by the lobster bake, but crowded tables and limited sides made the meal lacking.

    This was a lovely event under very unprecedented hot weather conditions. Mr. Stewart and his staff were superb. However, there should be some adjustments in the future. Passed hors d’oeuvres were missed by our table until I brought attention. Perhaps trays for each table might be better. There should be menu items on the table. The bartenders were wonderful but they had no cooling facilities for them or the guests. Cold drinks melted in minutes. Again, not within their control but better planning. There was no orderly flow to the buffet. Patrons, including myself, missed out on foods and desserts. No announcement or direction. No mussels, no chowder, no lobster for myself because I took the time to teach my table mates how to open the shell. I was happy to help but that could have been addressed by staff or a detailed print. Payment was odd. It would have been better to add a gratuity for those that went above and beyond. No direction was given where the fireworks would be visible. The steel drum band was just okay. I expected more panache from a Castle Hill event. I think the concept was lovely. I would attend again but hopefully with much more order and attentiveness to guests.

    At the price point being charged and the castle hill name we had high expectation’s for the Mother’s Day event but unfortunately our group had left feeling a bit disappointed and underwhelmed. The atmosphere seemed as though it could have been left over from a function the week before and though fully staffed we were left unattended at the table for a majority of our time with plates piling up and missing water glasses. We also found many stations were low or missing items all together and towards the end of the event many of the remaining stations were being cleared out for closing only about an hour after we had originally sat. We have been long time supporters of all of the Newport group restaurants and will continue to do so in the future
