   Excellent service. We were sitting on the terrace outside and it was a little bit breezy because there was a gap under the door. However, the restaurant did have good heaters and lovely blankets to use. The food was lovely. The Thai curry was a bit bland but packed full of vegetables and nice chicken. One of our guests had the burger which was gorgeous and another had the fish which was also gorgeous. We will definitely be returning.

   Ordered the burger with chicken which states on the menu grill chicken breast - it arrived as a patty which when I asked the staff they advised they ground all the chicken up. Didn’t taste like chicken at all, which was disappointing. Overall good is grand, nothing amazing. Service can be quite slow at times.

    First time there , nice place nice food . Service could be abit better .plenty of staff but noticed when asked for milk for our coffee we were forgotin about . And when we asked for menus they were just plopped on the table and walked away . But will be back as enjoyed food and atmosphere.

    Lovely evening for valentines, live music very relaxed atmosphere, great staff and service. My steak was a bit dissapointing, nothing wrong with the cooking it was just a bad cut of meat, very grisly and tough. Wouldn't put me off going back though. 💜

    This is a fabulous place for breakfast and lunch. Haven’t tried dinner yet but I will. The surroundings are beautiful, and the staff are amazingly friendly, a family-friendly establishment which is great to see. Bravo! Brass Onion. We will be back again and again

    There was decent choice for vegetarians, and the food arrived quickly. The poached eggs were a bit overdone, and we could have used two pieces of toast with each portion. The service was very good, though we had to ask for water twice.

    Had to make request for 1st&2nd glass of wine twice both times, my water never appeared. Sitting for most of meal with no drinks. Desert took almost 30 mins to arrive. Felt invisible for most part and paid 60 euros for it. 2nd glass of pinot grigio was comped but would have honestly preferred a proper apology for poor service instead of defensive reaction from person taking payment at the till who instead made a point of emphasising the comped glass. They also simply kept insisting our desert were on the way when we asked about it twice instead of apologising. A simple apology acknowledging the issues combined with complimentary gesture is always more effective in diffusing situations involving poor service. Unfortunate as the food is very good but simply too expensive to eat out to let this kind of issue go anymore.

    Food was delicious and staff were lovely except at the very end when we were left waiting to pay and then aggressively asked to leave. Slightly spoiled the experience but would still go back, I think it was a one off.

    Arrived at the restaurant not exactly sure on what to expect. It's safe to say we were both delighted with what we found. When we got in the staff were so welcoming and professional. There seemed to be a glitch with the booking system and our reservation wasn't originally listed. This however didn't stop the staff member from ensuring we got our table. He also managed to make us still feel welcome instead of a burden. When it came to the food we just couldn't fault it. The spicy chicken wings were honestly some of the best I've ever had, I just wish I had more room to try the desserts. Would highly recommend!

    Gorgeous food and good wine selection all very reasonable prices by Dublin standards. Group of 5 women and we all really enjoyed it. Didn’t feel rushed and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Will definitely go again.

    We just had an early dinner before heading into the city centre for Christmas celebrations. We had a main course and coffee and both were really enjoyable. The curry was delicious, I had added chicken but would have been lovely without too. It was quiet because it was so early but a man was setting up to play music and more people came in as we were leaving. Would definitely go back later in the evening to get more ambience but services was prompt and friendly. Ticked all boxes
