The Champagne Room
Sat, Sun 12:00–15:00
Lovely ambience and good service.
We attended the Bottomless Bellinis which was really lovely, but there seemed to be a lot of items which contained bread.
Great environment but pushed to leave before the 11pm finish time as we were the last ones there.
Venue/experience not anywhere as good as it has been in the past. NYE event at this venue was empty, not all tables full. Food was average, the arancini was pedestrian at best. Food came out far too quick. Steak no where near what it was, was a french style steak, clean and charred, this a mess of sauce that masked any flavour of meat. Didnt eat any of the sides or dessert. Service by attentive person was good. Staff were not busy though.
The Champagne Room was amazing! Service was fantastic and our girls Bellini brunch was a lot of fun!
The concept and bottomless drinks for the price was fantastic value.
We had a great time - we only had 2 comments on the food - the scones were overlooked and hard, they broke apart into pieces when trying to cut them, which was a bit of a shame as they make a high tea experience!!
And the chicken/ feta/ pumpkin sourdough was delicious but the pumpkin was undercooked and still a bit hard and there were some gristly bits of chicken that were a bit pink - we pulled those and the pumpkin off.
I went with some girlfriends for the bottomless belini's & we were lown away with the quality of service the nice range of food & with the atmosphere, will definitely go again.... ALOT!!!!
It was a great experience with excellent food and service.Quality of the $70 per person deal was so brilliant and worth every penny.
It was our very first visit to this place and it's a shame how the place looks hidden from the public. If I was just walking passed, I would not think twice about this place. Apart from that, once inside it oozes an urban chic appeal with 3 dining sections: al fresco, indoor and a Frenchy feel upstairs (The Champagne Room). The staff were friendly and very attentive, and the food were amazing. My friends and I are definitely coming back for more!
Had a great time! The food was good and the champagne cocktails were lovely. Correctly priced. Great for sunday brunches with some friends or a date!
Not good service this visit. No designated waiter or waitress, had to ask for champagne top ups, water 3 times before it was delivered, cutlery for sides, had to use dirty cutlery from entree for mains, had to ask for dessert menu, weren't asked for coffee. A waiter dropped a tray of glasses, champagne and glass smashed onto my sisters back, jacket and bag, nothing was offered, no attempt to clean her clothes, jacket or bag, just a chair was swapped and a few sorry's. Definitely no tips
I found the whole experience fantastic had two awesome waiters Devon and a young man from Ballina. They were both friendly and made great suggestions. We asked for a break between courses and that's exactly what happened.Would highly recommend it
Gorgeous fit out with comfy spots to spend a few hours chatting and drinking. Service is fabulous, too. Highly recommend.
Jeremy, who looked after us was genuine, funny, responsive and really made out night. He is a gem. The noise level was very high, which was surprising given the fabric booths - we almost had to shout to hear each other. When booking, we requested a circular booth if at all possible. When shown to our seat - with the restaurant almost empty - we were taken to one at the end of a row. Most of the night, only two of the larger booths were occupied by couples - not groups.
We thoroughly enjoyed the night. The waitress was particularly helpful and friendly. We asked for our food to have a break and this is exactly what happened. This is often not the case at restaurants
A fun vibe, with lots of champagne - in the decor and the glass.
It was a lovely evening with a lovely atmosphere. The staff were very friendly.
A lovely location and ambience for a girls catch up. I highly recommend it.
On the champagne room (Dinning) could be a bit less noisy, the music was too loud for a dinning area.
Service very good, food great however we found the music to be way too loud during meal time. Was difficult to have a conversation without having to raise your voice. Had more of a bar feel rather than a restaurant feel. Overall after a magnum of Mumm and our meal we settled in and enjoyed the night.
A wonderful dining experience. Great atmosphere throughout. Bar area very trendy and fun
Hi, I actually changed my booking to the Winery. Overall it was good but the service was shocking. Several times we had to go inside to get one of the waiters, who seemed to be few and far between. We had to hunt down a dessert menu ourselves - shouldn't waiters be trying to push desserts?! It felt like no one cared about us. Was it because of our New Zealand accents? Also, my friend asked for "HP sauce". The waitress scrunched up her face and said "I have no idea what that is." Awkward.
I've always liked the Winery for a summer afternoon drink, but the Champaign Room is open upstairs offer a whole different feeling. Very elegant design, great food and service. We tried the set price menu for $55 and there was a great selection of items to nibble on for most of the afternoon. It's a splendid spot to spend the afternoon.
Possibly the worst service I have ever experienced.
Food menu limited and service looked like a chore.
Perfect food perfect service what more can I ask for.
