I've eaten here a few times now and every time it has been excellent - including every aspect of my daughter and son-in-laws wedding. The service was friendly and efficient. The food delicious and good value. This place has been such a good find and I highly recommend it.

We booked a Sunday lunch (through Toptable) and arrived on time. Unfortunately, we weren't expected and were fortunate to be found a table in what was a very busy restaurant. Surprisingly, we were told that they rarely checked their internet bookings and were advised to telephone in future! After that 'blip' though, everything was super. The Sunday Lunch menu was limited to roasts plus one fish and one veggie option but we knew that because we'd checked on the TopTable site before booking. The waitressess were courteous and polite and the chef at the carvery was friendly and helpful. We had a seafood and avocado salad, which was delicious, and then got stuck into a huge roast beef dinner. Recommended - might have to book direct in future.

Even though there was a large party dining at the same time as us, the service was very good. All staff very polite and friendly and very accomodating for special dietry requirements. Atmosphere was relaxed, nothing felt rushed. Excellent value for money. Will definately return.

The food was delicious. I opted for the venison whilst my companion opted for salmon and both dishes were very well prepared and served. The staff were very friendly, cheerful and helpful. The dining area was warm, clean and very well presented. All in all a very pleasant & enjoyable experience!
