Situated at the heart of Tapnell Farm in a converted Swiss barn, The Cow champions the finest home-grown and locally sourced produce and is renowned for its delicious award-winning burgers - including gluten free, vegetarian and vegan choices.

You can choose whether to eat in (booking essential) or eat outside on the terrace.

    Food definitely worth the trip. Best burger I’ve had in years with delicious smoked bacon and cheese- just right. Wonderful fresh burgers, perfectly cooked, so succulent and tasty. One of our group had fish and chips, excellent crispy batter with delicious fresh fish and chunky chips . Just beware - we found the portion sizes too big. We are all seniors-we would request smaller portions if we were to return to the Isle of Wight ! Definitely would recommend the Cow to everyone.

    First time back there in a while, had a fabulous evening with friends, food was delicious, an bingo entertaining as always, so we were happy all round.

    The food was fantastic. Seriously the best burger I've ever had and my husband loved the beef stew The staff were lovely and I love the decor

    Delicious food, great service! Friendly, smiley staff greeted us, food arrived promptly, very hot, nicely presented and super tasty! Large portions! Good value for money. Definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    We took advantage of the Wednesday afternoon burger offer. So glad we did, The Matador was the best burger I’ve ever had! Nice relaxed atmosphere with attentive staff.

    Great food, the burgers were absolutely delicious. Quite loud as there was a really big party at the next table but it was still a good evening and we really enjoyed our visit. Staff were polite and attentive and made us feel looked after. We’ll be back again!

    We had nice time but had ask for everything all the time, I wish the staff were more attentive.. the food was nice but was it the best burger I ever had? No it wasn’t. The beef was of great quality though.
