   So disappointing. Had not been in in a while and I live in the hood. I was so happy when I walked through the doors but things went progressively downhill. Food was disappointing, it was so much better before. Service, as if we were an annoyance. Weren't told the desert staff was leaving, until we asked for desert and we had finished our dinner at least 20 minutes before. I love this spot but they sure could care less about their customers these days, sad when restaurants get too important for their own good!

   The pasta was overcooked and mushy! Quite a surprise for a place supposedly known for its pasta! Also, the acoustics are horrible for a conversation. Overall, it was overpriced and over-rated!

   This was my first time at Factory Kitchen, and it lived up to the hype. The handkerchief pasta and pesto were AMAZING. We sampled all the salads, and we couldn't pick our favorite.

    Weak service. Salads tasted as though there was no dressing on them. Like eating a bowl of plain greens. Server complained when we requested Parmesan for our pasta.

    The appetizers were unique and fantastic. Highly recommend the prosciutto one and funghi pizza. The pasta was freshly made and good, but I didn’t love the meat flavor. Dessert was great too. It’s loud inside. Cute, casual, expensive.

    Long overdue review coming your way!!! We came here for dinner on Valentine's Day. We checked in with the host and was seated around 10 minutes after. The place was super packed and the ambiance was very loud, but mind you it was Valentine's Day. It was very hard to keep conversations going. Service was good, can't really complain much except for one thing! Our server was very attentive regardless of how busy she was considering the number of people were around during that dinner service. I only have noticed that the "manager" who seemed like was the same person checking in as well was very rude to the bussers and other servers. Food was excellent overall! Everything tasted amazing and please please do not skip on the PROSCIUTTO, it truly is to die for! The plating for the pastas look small at first but they're really very filling! Everything we ordered was good for sharing. Desserts and coffee were wonderful as well! I've always been a Tiramisu gal but for some reason the Chocolate Olive Oil cake won my heart that night.

    The pasta was excellent as always. Don't get the banana bread pudding. They soak it in artificial banana, and it just doesn't taste quite right. The real bananas on top were a great addition, and could have been incorporated throughout for a more natural flavor, and had more Caramel drizzle or a tree leches style soak to the pudding instead.

    I had such a great experience at Factory Kitchen! I was honestly pleasantly surprised. I had doubts about the restaurant after reading recent reviews about reservations not being honored and was worried since it was Valentine’s Day. However, I arrived a few mins before my reservation time and was promptly seated. The server immediately came and asked if I wanted bottle or tap water. Then we were given some time to look at the menu. There were so many things on the menu I wanted to try! (Guess that means I’ll have to come back!) My friend and I started off with the prosciutto which was amazing! They slice the prosciutto right before they serve it to you and you can watch them do it since it’s an open kitchen. They also layer the thinly sliced prosciutto on top of this crispy thin bread - almost like a paratha but thinner. And then in the center is a creamy stracciatella (which is like the inside of a burrata). It was heaven! I also ordered the boozy bee for my cocktail and it was delicious! Perfectly crafted and sweet to my liking while also giving you a buzz! Dangerous because you can easily have too many! For our main meal, I ordered the famous pesto handkerchief pasta (mandilli di seta) which was as amazing as people say. It doesn’t look like much, especially since there’s no protein but it was silky and delicious. My friend got the porchetta which was really tender and juicy with a crispy skin. For our side, we ordered the caulilini which was just a roasted baby cauliflower/broccoli hybrid. I felt it could’ve used a little seasoning or a splash of lemon juice to brighten it up. It just tasted a little oily and wasn’t spicy at all. The main entrees were so good that I kind of forgot about the caulilini. We ended up skipping dessert because we were so full from dinner. Service throughout dinner was great - they kept our waters filled and took our plates when we were done. Food came out at appropriate times. I will definitely be back! FYI they have valet.

    After doing research on lots of places to dine in the downtown area, we decided to try The Factory based on reviews and menu - and it didn't disappoint at all. Our reservation was for 7pm and while we got there 10 min early to grab a drink at the bar - we were seated by 7pm. (note the tables are pretty close together, and it's a fairly loud dining experience, but it adds to the excitement of the place). The menu is diverse, but not overwhelming, and everything we ordered was fantastic. We will definitely be returning - with friends - soon!

    Food was great and our server was good. My issue was with being seated 45 minutes after my reservation because they were behind on reservations from earlier in the night. There was no apology for the long wait after my scheduled reservation and several others around me waiting were also frustrated and speaking with the manager. And then after being seated, the food came out very quickly between each other and felt like they were rushing us to finish our already late dinner so they could catch up…not sure if I’d go back. It’s good but not amazing.

    This is the second time I’ve been to the factory - the first time was more impressive than the second, mainly because the food was a bit disappointing the second time around. Starting with the good, I HIGHLY recommend ANY of their focaccia, everyone I’ve gone with and myself agree they’re the best things on their menu. The Ortolana salad is wonderful and the scottana is satisfying and vibrant. As for pasta, I’d only recommend the Mandilli di seta - I’ve had five of their other pastas and they are all sub par compared to this dish. So delicate, flavorful, and soft, it’s one of the best things on their menu. As for desserts you NEED to try the cannolis, so creamy and just the right amount of sweet and they make a damn good coffee to go along with it. Now with the bad: everything other than the focaccia came out lukewarm or cold, including the pastas we ordered. Foods you can skip: Sanremese was not seasoned nearly enough so you’ll get a one-note dish, the sauce for the Gnocchi (while it had wonderful veal) was similar to traditional can-bought tomato sauce, and the Modenesi was probably the most disappointing, it was very bland and not seasoned at all - it was essentially ham cubes in a thin cream sauce that left a lot to be desired. The panacotta was good but nothing to rave home about, I wish we didn’t get it. Overall a decent experience, if you know what to order you’ll have a wonderful culinary experience.

    The food at Factory Kitchen is what keeps us coming back.Mandilli de seta- just wow! We also shared the kale salad with ricotta, and the traditional focaccia. All were great. We had a variety of main courses that were delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

    We were bummed to be served pasta with clams that were gritty (ravioli di mare). Not thoroughly cleaned clams is surprising in a restaurant of this caliber. The stuffed peppers (peperu) appetizer was surprisingly bland. Our other pasta dish (casonzei) was fine and the duck entree (anatra) was good. The wine and cocktails and service were all okay. The atmosphere is very loud (lean-way-forward-to-hear-each-other-talk-loudly kind of loud). Overall, we were really disappointed in our experience.
