We booked a table for dinner and drinks for 7:30, at about 7:35 while still waiting for a member of the party to arrive we asked if they could take our order as the kitchen was closing now. We informed them we were waiting for someone, the waiter left without asking or offering to take a drink order. When we did order food and drink the food arrived before the drink, we were offered a dessert menu as the kitchen was closed.

Booked a table on Open Table for 8pm at the Grand Central Dublin for myself and my 83 year old mother for dinner. We arrived and were told that the kitchen closed at 8pm hence the 1 star rating!! Went to the Arlington and had a lovely meal and great service.

If you accept bookings at 7:30 don't close the kitchen at 8, and if you do tell the clients in the restaurant, we were served our starters and main dishes at the same time and couldn't order deserts. 30 minutes after we arrived... poor waiter was so embarrassed

Photos of restaurant are nicer than in person. Service was slow and not very good. Server seemed very agitated. If you're seated in the back portion of the restaurant you will leave smelling of the fryer grease from the kitchen. Restaurant became very hot and smokey by the end of our visit; due to proximity of small greasy kitchen to general seating area. Would not visit again.

Booked a table - was running a little late, tried calling aprox 20 times to let them know and got no answer so then sent an email. Showed up to the place and had no table to watch the World Cup. A family were seated having dinner. Disappointed and won’t go back!

So had dinner ok asked for desserts two apple tarts and a coffee waited for a half an hour.. had to ask for the desert s.. told yeah be here in a minute another 10 minutes called manager not even a apology from him came with one was cold sent back manager kindly said that he wouldn't charge for them... As we said it's was over 50 minutes at this stage..had another drink and waiter came out with same tarts we returned... Very poor on the behalf of manager...

Only reason I have food as poor is that we didn't have any. There was a problem with the cooker as we arrived so unfortunately we couldn't get food that night. I have eaten there before though and it was delicious. We were out for our Christmas party and had a few drinks before we left and it was a lovely atmosphere. Great bar and very friendly staff. Special thanks to the Manager Ronan who saved the day and organised for us to go to one of their sister restaurants for food instead. Worked out really well in the end.

Lovely bar nice food and drinks before the theatre. It was quite packed when I went in. Only downside was i wasn't shown were my table was. I had to find staff first. It was busy. Staff were friendly and attentive. I was happy to get a booth to Sit in. Unfortunately it was very cold in there. It was a cold night. Over all I would recommend this bar😊

Very nice place on O Connell St. Bar staff & waiting staff were very friendly.& provided a good service. Food was good. It is a pity & was disappointing that the kitchen closed at 9pm so we were not able to have the desert we were looking forward to.

Overall was an average experience. The starter of nachos was nice but way too messy and meat was way too much for how many nachos there were. It was such a small dish size to pack it all in.

Very lovely evening on Sunday. We booked a table for 6, when we got there it wasn’t ready which wasn’t a big deal, we got a drink at bar, the bar man was not happy with me that I ordered blackcurrant in my Guinness and made a snide remark but I didn’t say anything. The manager of the floor was really lovely, very prompt and attentive. The young waiter from chile or somewhere Central America was a delight I really had a lovely time & throughly enjoyed the food. I work in this industry so I wanted to enjoy my first bank holiday off I’ve ever, probably ever! I’m glad I came here and will be back soon.
