Our table was booked for 5 people and we got a 4 person table with an extra place setting, the table was very cramped as it was at the very back beside the window. There was a very strong smell of smoke from the fire even tho we were on the 2nd floor the waiter came down and said he had to open the window which was right behind us as the fire alarm was about to go off(Oct so very cold). The food arrived and 4 out of the 5 of us had to return as it was cold the waiter promptly took the food away to rectify but we were waiting over 20 mins as it was all re cooked. The manger then came and apologized and offered us a bottle of wine and comped the coffee and desserts. Overall it wasn't a great experience like the ones we have had in there previously.

3rd time here and food gets progressivly worse, chicken dish is now type of deep fried off the bone , be better with snack box from local chipper, no veg and spoon of mash , wont be back despite the nice staff and excellent ambience

First time back in many years. Portion sizes were small for €24.00 for one course. One glass of wine and tip already included at 12.5%. So each of us paid €41.00 for one glass of wine and a main course. Food was nice to be fair, service fine, but definitely not worth the money paid.

Never disappoints. Wine list could be more varied, but what’s there is very good anyway. Love a drink at the bar before and after the meal. Music played is also good. Photos of old film stars etc are always a great talking point.

Lovely food and service. Happy to see an improvement in the vegetarian option since last visited the cauliflower was delicious. Upstairs toilet needs some attention, taps and hand dryer not working. But overall delicious meal.

Top drawer experience. Group of 7 had 3 course dinner prior to going to a show in the Gaiety. Location is super. Value for earlybird was excellent as was the quality and variations on menu. Lovely pleasant waiting staff. 12.5% service charge… no quibbles on this.highly recommend.
