   Can’t fault the food or service. The lighting was a bit mad! A projector that was shining into our eyes. Asked waiter to try angle it away, he tried but it wasn’t gonna work. Not sure the projector is needed. Could pop some ash trays outside. But an amazing meal, friendly attentive staff without being over bearing. Surprised to see a service charge on the bill at the end without prior knowledge as we were a party of 5.

   My food was delicious but my husbands was dreadful. He ordered fish and chips. Fish was all batter and grease chip where poor. Also 13.5% service charge for lunch time, 2pm is a bit much.

   Food and service good and staff friendly., but wine is expensive; €38 for the cheapest bottle of red wine, then up to €46. Why has wine gone up in restaurants but not in supermarkets or off-licences?

   Staff were so accommodating We got delayed in traffic and they looked after us with an alternative so Mothers Day wasn't spoiled Thank you

    I wasn’t the biggest fan of being seated upstairs. I don’t think the room is on par with ground level. The access way to the upstairs room is being used for storage which does not really result in elevated experience. I definitely did not like paper ‘table cloths’ on tables, it felt downmarket. The set menu seemed a bit unimaginative and despite having a decent meal there was not a single wow moment being served on the plate. Presentation wise everything looked too beige. Overall I was not completely disappointed but would not rush back. Also I don’t think adding 12.5% gratitude by default makes sense for smaller parties especially when the experience falls pretty short of being exquisite.

    The food was of good quality but felt they were rushed and the waiter had clearly had a good St Patricks Day. We had to constantly ask for things, repeat orders, and forgo courses because of time pressure, which detracted from the ambiance and the food. I am sure it was just a bad day at the office.

    I had been there before and had high expectations but these were disappointed. The service was very slow though the wait staff were very pleasant and courteous. Our table was at the top of the stairs leading to the kitchen and it was like sitting in a cold wind tunnel. Two of us had the bouillabaisse which was tasty but the portions were minute. The third person had the chicken and fared somewhat better with that.

    Disappointed that my booking request with 2 weeks notice for seating downstairs at back of restaurant was not met Maitre De didn’t seem very competent or helpful Otherwise the staff were ok but as always the food makes up for it, possibly the best eating experience in Dublin

    We had a wonderful afternoon lunch. Service was really good and really friendly. Food was excellent as was the overall atmosphere. I felt the wine was pricey which wasn’t helped when the most reasonably priced bottle was unavailable Pushing us up to a €50 bottle ( and of course we had a second 😃) Really enjoyable afternoon.

    Gorgeous little spot with a truly Gallic vibe. Relaxed, convivial and lively. Lovely log fire at the end of the bar to have a delicious G&T aperitif before dinner. Good menu - great wine choice. But, justva little over-priced. I know it's Dublin & maybe I'm way out of touch, but not much available for under €35/btl wine & most main courses North of €25. The orange & mozzerlla salad for starter was basically teeny (for €13xeuro) - the root vegetable soup was, by comparison, a bargain. So, a little mixed on the 'value' front. But, really, a lovely place. I saw quite a few people drinking beer with their meals - maybe the management should take note! Being slightly less expensive on the wine front might actually encourage more spend. We didn't have deserts, for example, and shared a cheese board (which was the 'value' dish of the evening coming in at €9. I would visit again (on a less thirsty night...). Overall, ca lovely evening. Attentive, quirky staff.

    Ristorante molto carino, piccolo ma accogliente. Posizione centrale vicino alla statua di Molly Malone facilmente raggiungibile. Servizio ottimo e cortese. Cucina deliziosa. Consiglio vivamente la zuppa di pesce, buonissima.

    Thank you for a very pleasant dining experience last night. Everything was perfect with the one notable exception of the wine. We ordered a bottle of Cotes Du Rhone which arrived at far too cold a temperature to be enjoyed. We did mention it to the waiter but he made light of our remarks as if it didn't matter. At 50 bucks for a passable wine I can assure you, it did. Other than that we enjoyed the experience. The food was excellent. The staff were very pleasant and the ambiance was as if we had stepped into the 19th century. We'll be back. Regards Terry

    Restaurant was very cold and little was done to try and deal with the issue when we raised it. The food was very good overall but the set menu was quite limited in terms of choice with a €10 supplement for a steak. The bouillabiasse for a mian course was very small with very little fish in it - much smaller than the soup potion for starters. Staff were very friednly and generally attentive excpet fot the coldness issue - which he said they had been told before! Really nice decor and atmosphere but turn up the heat and be fairer with choice and potion sizes

    Ordered two ribeye steaks. Arrived with the chips cold, which we sent back. Poor side salad on plate and extra charge of €5 for veg. Overall very expensive and very poor value for money. We won't be back.

    Will definitely be back, would love to have stayed longer if we hadn’t been going to the theatre. Ticked all the boxes…lovely atmosphere and outstanding food. The staff are excellent.

    Starters: Gambas & nduja : gambas over cooked, sauce and sourdough were lovely Crab: very light and refreshing, decent portion of crab. Best dish of the meal Mains: Moroccan lamb: meet was tough and overcooked, couscous & chickpea base was very basic with almost no sauce. Very disappointing dish. Chicken: chicken tasty and full, potato was delicious. Dessert: Vanilla creme brulee: nice, good consistency Chestnut cheesecake: texture was very cream cheesy, moreso than a normal cheesecake, thought taste was good. Rum and raisin ice cream was nice Overall: At €100, this meal was extremely disappointing, will not be coming back.

    Fantastic food, I wanted to order a second plate of the same mains we ordered! Will definetly book it again. It is very child friendly despite of the space. Everyone were so nice and courteous.

    Beautiful food French waiter told too many jokes, made it a bit awkward for me on a first date. Young girl waitress with the glasses was very efficient. Disappointed they don't sell tap water. Wine and food was delicious, especially the bread that came with the prawn starter. Was good to see it so busy, but could get a bit loud at times.
