   Staff always look after us very well. We often make seating requests and they have always accommodated us.

   This evening meal was superb. The food was excellent. Excellent choice for vegetarians . The staff were there if needed attentive and not overly attentive- friendly and courteous. It was a lovely experience Thank you. We ll definitely be back again. before too long.

   The service staff could do well with training and supervision. We ordered a bottle of wine. It was just put down in front of us. Never opened or poured. I was surprised since this is supposedly a four star restaurant. Also after the main course was served, we were totally ignored. We had to search up desert ourselves.

   Do not bother making reservations, no table is saved for you. Waited ages for desert. Seemed very chaotic in service.

   Went to an oyster. Unfortunately they only had a total of 3 oysters left for my wife and I. They we’re good however. Nice restaurant and rest of food was great.

   7 Family get-together after 3 yrs lock down. Lunch menu very limited and very expensive. 2 had fish and chips which was over baked and reheated. Dessert was returned as ice-cream was frozen and 1 strawberry on top frozen. Cost overall too expensive. Waitress helpful but ignored complaints. Supervisor arrived after meal was finished to enquire if our meal was alright. Too late to make changes.

   This is an excellent restaurant, both the Oyster Bar and the Gaslight restaurant. Being Italian, I enjoyed the "risotto", I rice based dish I love, and this is the first or second I experienced in Ireland worth to be named risotto. An authentic positive surprise. Not the usual, trivial desserts: the cherry, red berries and pistacchio semifreddo was excellent as well. Classy environment, no annoying music and loud noise, I hate them. Careful and and prompt service.

   Service really slow. Oysters and chowder excellent but main course of sea bass and prawns with baby new potatoes lacked finesse. In fact the presentation was awful.

    We stopped on the way during a family trip. what looks like a cozy pub on the outside is clean, new and bright inside, with a fish tank. service was excellent, food great quality with starters very reasonably priced and some higher end dishes. even coffee was excellent.

    We were there from 2.50pm with 2 kids on Fathers day. The staff member took our order right away and we did not receive our starter until after 3.30. At 4pm I had to ask staff for our mains as no one came to clean the table or ask if we were ok. Trying to keep 2 young kids entertained (3 yr old and a baby) for that long was impossible. When the mains arrived, the goujons we ordered for our 3 year old was not goujons. It was some sort of breaded fillet that was cut up and the chicken was so tough, he could not eat it, and neither could we. My steak ciabatta was cold when it arrived and the steak was so tough, I couldn't eat it either. Very disappointed with the service and the food. It was so bad that we left and went to supermacs for dessert as no one came near us after dinner either and we did not want to be waiting another hour

    I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and nice service. Loved the environment and the coctail menu is absolutely amazing. Quick effective and friendly staff. We will be definitely back 👍

    The waiter was outstanding, he truly went above and beyond for us! Such a pity we never got his name to credit him for his hard work. The meals were large and tasty, the steak was amazing! Would highly recommend

    Managed to get in for a Christmas meal with two others. Nice comfy spot with lovely food. I didn't expect live music there but it was quite good and overall we had a great evening.

    Our food after a long delay , came out cold. Rest of party were so hungry the ate it , when I eventually caught the attention of a waiter- manger I think, the rest were finished. One in party asked for salmon, with sauce to the side and no broccoli. He got a peice of salmon, that was it. Also asked for a pint of Bulmers and got a pint of Hinekan... Of course the person paying did't want to make a fuss - typical Irish and paid for it in full.. Would not recommend anybody to eat here ever. Totally over priced and a terrible experience.

    Booked for lunch at 2.30pm. Got off to a good start but after we had finished our meal the table wasn't cleared for 25 minutes; staff were preoccupied setting up the restaurant for dinner service. When table was finally cleared we weren't offered more drinks, dessert, tea, coffee even though we were previously interested in all of them. We just paid and left instead.

    We went here for an anniversary dinner and we were so thrilled with the experience. Food was really superb and our server Jessica was so good at her job. We will be going again.

    Fantastic team very lovely friendly service. The dinning area in the oyster bar wasn't warm didn't have that friendly atmosphere that you get here in Ireland. We stay in gallway with ate out for 5 days .Booking was pretty easy. Wasnt sure if it was family freindly.Thanks
