    The Jonathan Swift Room at The Ivy Dawson Street seats 32 guests on two long tables or across four rounds. The room is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as drinks and canapé receptions for up to 50 guests.The room’s interiors will include colourful artwork and a striking landscape image of Dublin’s horizon as seen from Phoenix Park and St Stephens Green in 1800, whilst the ceiling itself will feature an image of fictional hero Leopold Bloom alongside a host of multicoloured, exotic flying birds.With a selection of menus available, specially created by our Executive Chef, Sean Burbidge, The Jonathan Swift Room is equally suited to private parties as it is for corporate breakfasts, lunches and dinners.Complimentary menu cards and place cards are provided for each event and each table is decorated with seasonal flowers and tea lights.

    Fantastic dinner experience, service is excellent. Busy spot, so best to book on advance. Prawn and monkfish curry, fish cakes and the chocolate bomb are not to be missed

    I was not informed the reservation was outside until I arrived; I would not have booked had I known that and the weather forecast. The lady at the front desk was rude when I inquired about moving inside and in general was unpleasant. Food was amazing - I had the blackened cod. The fish was a great portion - it would have been nice to have a grain with it. Service was good - they were definitely trying to keep up and were very pleasant.

    I just want to thank a very observant worker, a Hispanic or Latino female floor manager or worker, who spotted the baby knocking over my companions coffee and without even us noticing that she was aware as we cleaned up. She came back with a cloth, helped mop up and then organised a free coffee to replace the spill. All very understated, no drama, just a big smile and attention to detail -and to the customers.     Spent a most wonderful memorable afternoon at The Ivy last Thursday with my daughter, daughter in laws and grandkids. It was to celebrate my daughters upcoming wedding in a few wks and What an experience we had. It did not disappoint! Food was just amazing served to us by Tonka a very friendly attentive server. We will definitely return. It's well worth a visit.

    I visited The Ivy with my friend to celebrate her birthday. Overall, it was a great experience. The food was some of the best I've eaten and the service couldn't have been better. I had a chichen salad for main and shared the chocolate bomb for dessert. Both were outstanding. However, I felt the drinks and sides were a little overpriced and I was very disappointed with quite a steep service charge at the end of the bill. Despite this, I will definitely be returning for another special occasion!

    Brought my sister to your beautiful restaurant as a treat. Her husband died recently and she needed a little lift, if only for the time we had our meal. She had never been to The Ivy and was very impressed with its beautiful decor. Our food was delicious and the young waiter was very efficient helpful and friendly. I’ve been to The Ivy twice before and have always had an excellent meal and very enjoyable experience in this delightful restaurant.

    Such a lovely treat we had yesterday. Delicious food, so delicious, the vegetarian menu is superb, dessert soooooo good, the chocolate bomb is a must. To share, because my god its sweet. Loved it all. Thanks so much. Its expensive for lunch, but worth it because the taste and portion match the price. You are paying for top notch everything. So worth it. But for me, a treat day out.

    Food was slow coming and 2 dishes were very overdone. We sent one back because it was so bad but then it took ages to get a replacement, everyone was finished eating by the time that person started their food. Our waitress was very nice and took that item off our bill. Generally the place was very busy and the decor is lovely.

    Presentation of all good was excellent,however cod Goujons were mediocre,cheese desert was minuscule. Decor in The Ivy is always to a high standard. Service was excellent Drinks were outstanding. Food let the visit down on this occasion. I also like to add gratuity myself and not to have it added automatically.

    Food was very disappointing. I had sea bass, it was over cooked and tasteless. I felt a little unwell after eating it.Duck salad to start is usually very good but yesterday was not as good as normal.. overall food was most disappointing
