I took my family there for my mum's 50th. Everyone enjoyed it! It had an amazing selection of gin&tonic, cocktails, and the food was outstanding! I'm vegetarian and I felt there was a great selection, I really enjoyed the veggie shepherd's pie. My family enjoyed their meat and fish options as well.
Always my favourite place to go in canary wharf. Service and food is exceptional.. and they serve moscato asti! Yum
Staff is accomodating and approachable. They tried to cater our needs as much as possible. Food is generous and great! Will definitely go back!
Birthday, was awesome
Great food, service and atmosphere! Very happy with our choice for a Saturday evening.
Food and atmosphere outstanding. Some staff were fantastic others let us down. It was my sisters 40th birthday so a special occasion. When we left staff couldn’t find my sisters coat. Then found it on the floor with the staff coats and just laughed with no apology. We tried not to make a scene for the other customers. Called and asked to speak to a manager as there is no email. No call returned very disappointed.
Lovely experience from start to finish.
Whilst the food at the Ivy in the Park was excellent- just as you would expect from this franchise- the service really let the restaurant down! Slow, inattentive and sloppy service unfortunately ruined the evening for us. Stick to the original!!
New year's day birthday dinner for husband. The rib eye steak was great along with the Apple tart! Soo good. Unfortunately fish and chips was just okay, felt like it had been over fried. The mash potatoe side also tasted cold.
Overall the service was lovely, a little bit slow at times but we weren't in a rush so enjoyed the time and evening off from baby. The birthday doughnut cupcake was lovely while we waited for our dessert.
Very bad experience. We waited more than 45 minutes to get food and drinks and once the food was there we still had some things missing from our order. The eggs Benedict were all cold. Eventually, the manager apologized and sorted out the bill. However I won’t recommend going back there.
Wonderful first experience at the Ivy in the Park with my other half for New Year's Eve celebrations. Fantastic food & service, food was ready in next to no time and tasted absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back! Thank you.
We discovered The Ivy last year and it’s our third time we return. We can’t fault it and we’re definitely coming back.
Fabulous evening with great food & service. Would highly recommend
All of the staff were amazing, our waiter was very friendly and overall we had a great time.
We had a Great NYE at The Ivy. Great food and service
We have eaten in there twice before, however on this particular . night, one of your waiters but he was in a suit, so he must have been management level, seemed to have a very nasty cold and kept clearing his nose very loudly, it was very offputting and at one stage our table was right in front of the curtain where the staff walk in and out with the plates and glasses, and he came out and as I looked up at him he was unfortunately picking his nose!!!! he saw me look and felt embarresed, I was slightly put off as I was eating my food at the time, i watched him walk across the restaurant and continue to pick up a bottle of wine and pour it to a party of people at the table.
I was not impressed by this, it was my husband's birthday and I ended up leaving my meal and didn't opt for any dessert, my husband queried this but I didn't want to tell him as didn't want it to ruin his night. It was a very bad night from that moment and ruined it for me. I have been to your restaurant and I will certainly come again but that was not very nice for me at all.
My visit was a Christmas present to my partner who is a fantastic cook. So he appreciates good food. We both loved the food and the service. The staff were all friendly as well as professional. The decor was beautiful. The visit made our Christmas. Thank you so much. Julia Taylor
This was a special family treat for New Year’s Eve - a delicious breakfast, stylishly presented. Most of the staff were welcoming and helpful, but it was a pity that when we asked for a cosy booth table we were told that none were available, despite there being several that remained unoccupied throughout our one and a half hour breakfast.
The restaurant was quite quiet at the time, and we were made to feel that we were being something of a nuisance for asking to move. We were given the option of one other table and we did move, but it was two small tables pushed together rather than a booth for four as we had requested.
Booked breakfast here based on a previous positive experience. Unfortunately the kippers I ordered were partially raw (sent back and which subsequently made me very ill), the sauce for a replacement different dish had to be requested twice. Two different waiting staff rudely interrupted conversation (rather than wait for a natural pause) so both the food and service were poor - I wouldn't recommend based on this experience.
It was an excellent night. All the staff were excellent. The food was excellent. The only down side was that we had to pay for parking as the lady at the front desk said that they only stamped tickets on the weekend or bank holidays. After paying close to £200 I do think that was disappointing and that will definitely be a consideration next time I book.
Lovely restaurant, good service but the food wasn’t that hot when served.
It was excellent definitely go again for lunch or dinner. The portions just the right size and the menu able to cater for my gluten free requests.
Had a lovely lunch with friends, I had burger which was very nice, they had fish and chips which they said was delicious. I am definitely having it next visit.
The service is great and the ambiance and perfect for brunch! Would highly recommend and keep coming back! x
Was very disappointed not to be sat in the main part of the restaurant I would not have booked had we had known we would be sat in an overflow area
The Ivy in Canary Wharf has a great decor and the atmosphere is always good - relaxed vibe. The food is good - the service was a little hit and miss but overall not bad.
Table we were given was next to a service area which wasn’t ideal and was disruptive of the overall dining experience. Food was good but not wow. Service was fast and generally good. Perhaps a bit too quick between courses, felt slight rushed even though it wasn’t busy.
Yes would recommend if chicken was halal. Vegetarian option is really good and decor is amazing. More halal options
Amazing service in a beautiful environment like an oasis in the middle of Canary Wharf
Lovely venue and great service but the food just isn’t good enough. Been to several of the Ivy Brasserie chain in London now and the food is always barely average. I’d rather they charge more money but the food is decent. Such a shame.
We had to wait a long time for our meals, we only ordered main courses. We arrived at 6.45pm and were served our mains until 7.50pm, they did not arrive at the same time and one had to be sent back. The food was average and for the price not worth it.
Good food, excellent staff.
The food was not the same quality as the other chains
We came for a 3 person dinner at the Ivy Canary Wharf, the setting is beautiful and they really pushed the boat out for Christmas to make it look magical. Our drinks waiter was lovely, polite and friendly, but our food waitress was snotty and said a few things to us that could of been considered quite rude if we were easily offended, so she needs to have a bit of an attitude check. My partner ordered the burger, however we were told they had run out. The snotty waitress insisted he try the steak sandwich as a substitute but that was like an old kebab in a stale ciabatta bread, not quite what we expected from the Ivy. They also did not have a sweet chilli sauce for the prawns we had as a starter and when we asked for some the waitress scoffed at us and said some things under her breath as she walked away. She took just one drink off the bill for the inconvenience and disappointment regarding my husbands main course, which we thought was not quite the level of hospitality we were expecting, considering the poor quality of the suggested replacement dish. I would recommend the Ivy, but only because of the ambience, setting and both my food and our colleagues was lovely. If you're after 5 star service you won't get it here, just a bucketload of attitude! Shame really that the waitress does not match up to the setting and the good Ivy name. She could of dealt with our requests in a much more professional way.
Such great staff delivering a great product.
Brilliant - great food - great variety excellent service
The Ivy in the park is normally a safe bet but I think we were unlucky this time. After what must have been a very busy day we went at the end of service and the team looked tired and the food was just OK and not the usual great. Avoid after long days.
Had a fantastic time! Staff friendly and helpful. Food was amazing!!
We had supper at 8pm and there were babies and children which I found odd. Or the restaurants fault oersay but unappetising with the noise and ambience.
Our table tipped twice spilling drinks- wobbly and an attempted fix happened after the first time but didn’t work- Prosecco everywhere!!
Food was well below par for the Ivy chain. My salmon was cold and the sauce, tasteless. The chips were awful.
The zucchini fritti however were delicious as were the espresso martinis.
Shan’t come again
Fabulous restaurant!!
