   I went to the Ivy for lunch with a friend ( a birthday treat) we we’re probably there 2 hours and we had steak in a peppercorn sauce with the best chunky chips ever!! The staff were attentive and eager to please and happy to recommend - we had a lovely time and would definitely recommend

   Was late being seated by 25 minutes with no apologies, had to ask for set menu twice! Service took that long that we had no time for a pudding!!!! No one smiled staff wise and they seemed so busy that they were not helpful!!! the person welcoming into the building was on his phone on arrival and leaving - very disappointing experience, although the two courses we did have apart from waiting at least 40 minutes between courses was amazing

    First time at the Ivy Manchester and we will definitely return. We were looking forward to having lunch there before seeing Elton John concert. We had high expectations and we were not disappointed! The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Staff were attentive, friendly and welcoming. Beautiful aesthetically pleasing environment and lovely vibe.

    Good excellent. Service excellent. Vibe excellent. The only negative is that the staff don’t get all of the tips, wished we’d known before paying by card. Otherwise we’d have given the waiter cash. Shame on you The Ivy.

    Thank you for our fantastic afternoon at your lovely rooftop setting in Manchester. It was an anniversary present from our son and we loved it. The food was amazing and we definitely will be back. Thank you too for the really pleasant service from our server. I can't remember her name but she had an Australian accent I think. So please commend her on doing a brilliant job.

    Service in general not great. Table booked for rooftop terrace arrived 8 mins before table time checked in on ground floor reception told to go upstairs to roof top restaurant and check in. Checked in at roof top restaurant told table not ready to come back asked where we could wait pointed over to the roof top bar. Busy there however waiter did find us table he said someone will let us know when table ready. Waited 30 mins waiter went over to find out came back said another few minutes meanwhile I received a phone call from The Ivy saying waiting for us are we coming? Explained checked in been waiting now 40 mins not happy some chap from restaurant then came to tell us table ready. This was 9.25pm. Took ages to take our order starters finally came out at 9.55pm and had another 25 minute wait for main course. Food was very nice once we got it!

    Was fortunate to be able to celebrate birthdays on the roof terrace with a group of friends. We had never been to The Ivy before and had high expectations. I’m pleased to say that the rooftop bar and restaurant lived up to those expectations. Great, friendly, attentive service. Very lively and loud atmosphere.

    After visiting a number of times yesterday’s visit was very poor from arrive at the roof terrace we had to wait 25 mins for our reservation and also for drinks. The toilets were below the standards that are acceptable- water all over the floor and also not cleaned properly. When moving into the brassiere there was water and limes on the floor under the table as if a drink had been spilt and just left there. We was given the wrong information about our bill after asking for the information 3 times. The manager that dealt with us was very efficient and she rectified a lot of the issues. My friends has never been before so I felt I let them down as they had very night expectations for The Ivy.

    Great food and ambience. £5 for a bottle of water too much and service charge at 12.5%. too much. The reason for this in America is different, should not enforce this here. Other than that it is a lovely restaurant and the staff are Great

    Had a wonderful meal with my daughter. The bar staff could have been a little more welcoming … it’s the only minus. The soufflé was .. well no words!! Mains 10/10 and the cheesecake dessert almost tasted illegal! Our server Lydia …. Perfection! Overall very enjoyable ☺️

    Another lovely meal at The Ivy celebrating my husbands birthday. Our servers were very attentive and made us feel very welcome, a special mention to Stefan it was nice to see him again the last time I was in celebrating with my 2 daughters he was our server…nice to see the same staff it says a lot about the restaurant when they manage to keep such wonderful staff.     This was sadly the worst afternoon tea I’ve ever had. The sandwiches were either completely soggy or really dry, almost stale. The cakes were dry. The scones were ok. The tea was again sadly terrible. This was a gift to celebrate my wife and my honours from the Palace and we couldn’t wait to leave the restaurant.
