What Insiders Are Saying
It’s rare that we back this type of restaurant, but The Lambs Club is Infatuation approved for Pre-Theater Eats and Corporate Card use in Midtown.
Service was not great. Food just ok. Very loud - couldn’t hear the entertainment
Great Sunday Jazz Brunch.
Wonderful brunch- food and service were wonderful! While music is lovely, volume is far too loud to have any conversation at all. Either lower volume, move musicians to outer room or play lighter music...too much for such a small dining area.
The food was fine but way over priced
Liked the music and ambiance of the restaurant. Service was much better than my first experience.
Delightful atmosphere and service was efficient and understated. Meals were enjoyed by all.
We went here before dinner and although the reservation was for 5 and we were seated at 5:15, the rest of our experience was spectacular. Amazing food, served in style and in a lovely setting. Even popcorn as we left as a parting gift. Nice touch.
When I visit NYC, especially if I am gong to the theater, I try to eat at the Lambs Club. The last time we arrived early. We were given the option of eating breakfast or waiting for our 11:30 reservation for lunch, we decided to wait and were offered coffee while we waited in the hotel lobby. Everyone who works for the restaurant was warm, gracious and helpful. Our service was excellent as was each of our lunch choices. Of course one of the reasons I enjoy the restaurant is that I am gluten free and love your delicious Gluten Free rolls! Shortly after we were seated, my specially prepared GF rolls. My friends yanked me for introducing them to your restaurant and look forward to eating there again.
Fantastic as always. Ate at the restaurant post theater and its always a pleasure. If you are looking for something in the times square area that isn't a tourist trap, this is the place for you. Comfortable setting, excellent service, and very accommodating with my nut allergies.
The bibb salad with shallot and horseradish was very mild and a great way to start the meal. Its unusual for me to order chicken at a restaurant but soooo glad I did. Best chicken ever with mushroom duxelle. The steak with bone marrow was also fantastic. To end the night the champagne sorbet was the perfect amount, refreshing and a great palatte clense.
Great experience. We went before the show and it helped make the day even more special.
The pre fixe menu had great choices. My husband and I both ordered the Tuna L' Occidental as the appetizer, then we both had the duck breast with shaved brussel sprouts and farro. On to dessert, my husband had the lemon tart which had a shortbread cookie as the crust and I enjoyed the raspberry lychee sorbet. Everything was cooked to perfection and we enjoyed a nice bottle of Lo Sfuso de Collina bottle of red from Italy. Moderately priced. We were seated by the large warm fireplace. It was a wonderful birthday dinner for my husband.
What a lovely pre-that are dinner spot. The site had an interesting history and the hostess graciously told us about it and then gave us a printout of its history, too. The food was outstanding and the service terrific.
The food and service were great, the Bloody Mary had Bloody Mary mix ice cubes.. very cool
The food was good but way overpriced.
My wife and I had a planned evening at a Broadway Show and had both been to the LC on separate occasions, so decided to go.
The food was terrific, service wonderful and ambiance moderate.
Great dining experience!
And thank you Jasmine (Sp?) for the special assistance!
I’ll be back!
Food was delicious
Great selection of Champagne by the glass
Service very friendly ,organized and efficient
Love the intimate setting
Lovely atmosphere, comfortable and quiet. Service could have been a little more attentive, especially during lunch. Excellent!
Definitely one of our favorites in NYC. Every time we are there one of us has one of the best dishes we’ve ever had! It never disappoints.
We had a great experience at The Lambs Club. The food was outstanding, so delicious. All the staff, from the Hostess, the Waiters, the Sommelier were so friendly, helpful and nice.
Ideal location for pre-theater dinner. Cozy dining room. Excellent service. Excellent but very expensive wine list. Mediocre food at high prices.
Disappointed in the food. Cobb salad served on a piece of bitter romaine lettuce and burnt, over salted French fries.
Been here for brunch many times and that has always been very good
Excellent lobster and out in plenty of time for theatre!
Our first time at this lovely restaurant. Service, food and ambience all fantastic. We will definitely return.
Very good evening. Food was great! I had the duck and it was delicious. We also started with the curried crab, which was very nice as well.
Thank you for coming to The Lambs Club Kelley! We do hope to see you again soon. Sincerely, Jay Poblador General Manager
The restaurant has a very cool old-school vibe, the waiters and all the people that work there were so attentive. I think my husbands napkin got folded three different ways but he was in the bathroom. Haha. The restaurant has a very cool old school vibe. I highly recommend this restsurant.
Thank you so much for joining us at The Lambs Club Meredith! We look forward to your next visit. Jay Poblador General Manager
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. A wonderful dining experience all around
What an amazing place to celebrate our Anniversary
Once The Lambs Club figures out their service issues, it will be close to perfect.
Service was unbelievably slow. Two of us ordered the Caesar salad and it was truly awful. The hostess noticed we barely ate it and said she was sorry she hadn’t known earlier. I asked that she have the chef taste it. It was beyond bitter. We did get a credit for 1 of the salads. Why not both of them!
Beautiful room but menu is weird. Appetizer salads are too big for apps and too small for a meal. Salad was overdressed. Pasta for lunch was too heavy and not as described. Dessert was good and service was fair. Disappointing overall for a chef/critic that owns the restaurant.
Incredible service, delicious food. A wonderful evening from start to finish!
Everything was excellent. Superb service.
Once again the Lambs Club team hits it out of the park! This is the perfect place in every aspect... service incredible, dining room old school sexy and Chef Galen’s food divine! We did the pre theatre menu and made the whole night perfect. The team made sure we stayed on schedule to make our show without sacrificing the fine dining experience. Thank you again!!
Nice meal. Great service. Had plenty of time to get to matinee.
A very special place ... great food, excellent service enhanced by the presence and “touch” of Geoffrey Zackarian .. .. !!! Wonderful experience
Great food and service!
The food was great but the service was poor. Quite a disappointment.
Comfortable seating in red leather chairs and banquettes with a club-like ambience . A welcome low noise level and excellent service. The meal is pricey but the portions are not miniscule - and the food is delicious. The wine list is a welcome relief from over-priced ones, with interesting wines at many price levels and a knowledgeable sommolier. We see Jeffrey Zakarian often on food TV, but now I understand why he is there!
