The Larder Restaurant & Brewhouse
Friday - Saturday: 12pm-10.30pm
Been to this place a few times and enjoyed it every time. To start, we had the chicken wings (best I've had in a long time) and the goats cheese starter. Both excellent. For the mains, she had the sea bass risotto special and I had the duck. Hers was lovely but I was a bit disappointed in the duck to be honest as I felt it was lacking a bit of flavour. To finish we shared the chocolate pot desert which was gorgeous and not to heavy. With drinks (glass of house red & a coke) the bill worked out at 87 including tip so not bad value at all for a Friday night in Temple bar . Would defo recommend.
The front seemed to have gotten a make over in the since I was last there about 5 months and it looks good.
We were the annoying table who booked for 7, then one was late and we had to order hers over the phone, and another 2 showed late for only a glass of wine. They couldnt have been nicer about it. And the food was wonderful too!
The food was delicious, very tasty and generous on the proportions. The service was great and fast, and the waiters absolutely charming. I would recommend also for the atmosphere, very cosy and romantic.
Had a beautiful meal with a friend here last Friday the food was excellent and the service was quick and professional. Will be back again .
Very good. Nicely prepared food. Very loud. Good service. Could not make a Manhattan. Brew house is a misnomer.
Thoroughly enjoyed my evening at the larder with the girls. Delicious food, fantastic service and great value! Can’t wait to go back!
We booked a table for 8 people and we had the early bird menu, the food was excellent, staff very friendly and attentive. The food tasted fresh, lovely decor, couldn’t fault it.
Really good on a great location! Such great staff too. Thanks
The evening menu and quality of food was much better than the lunch menu. First time having lunch here, and i was disappointed, had higher expectations after the evening menu. I'd sirloin steak and it was horrible, and not cooked to my preference which was medium. The cheese board while it read great, was extremely underwhelming.
Really tasty quality food with excellent service. Ideal for 2 people not suitable for large groups (tables of 6+) as it's quite a small dining space and the noise can get overbearing. We had a table of 8 near us when we were there and the noise from one of the diners was very intrusive - not the restaurants fault and I think they did ask them to keep the noise down.
We loved this restaurant. It is small, but had plenty of atmosphere and the staff were really friendly and attentive. The food was exceptional and of good quality and value for money. We would certainly go back again if we were ever in Dublin.
Loved the larder,,the food was beautiful,(steak was cooked perfectly). The staff were very professional and attentive, really worth a visit..thanks for a lovely meal and a great night
Great restaurant, ordinarily would never have come here only for opentable, never knew it existed even though I walked by it a few times a week. Lovely food, reasonably priced, overall very happy, will definitely come again
We love it here! Always great food and great service.
Food OK. Noisy but good ambience. My cheesecake was left on the side for about 15 minutes before being served at our table. We were too polite complain and were keen to get bill to leave.
Lovely restaurant, amazing food, good variety and decent portions, great early bird menu, great wine and the staff were really attentive and lovely. Def would recommend
Busy, cosmopolitan restaurant on Parliament Street. The restaurant is cosy with a buzzing atmosphere. The menu is short but has plenty of choice. Steak Night is particularly good value. The service is friendly and efficient. All in all The Larder is a good venue for casual, good-value dining.
The larder is a good place, we went there for a brunch. The food is good but a bit expensive for what it is. Only small issue is that my friend wanted to order one of then option which wasn't available whereas it was the beginning of the service. Good place anyway
the food was amazing and the staff were so friendly. would definitely recommend it
excelnt food, excellent service, excellent value. We would totally recommend The Larder
Very friendly front of house staff. .First time here, loved the ambience . .Lunch menu was very varied . Food was very tasty ...Everything felt 'real' and not pushy ...will definitely be back.
Lovely spot with home brewed beers and very good quality food. The chicken wings are superb as are the meat and fish dishes.
This is a great place. The staff are so accommodating; it was a cold day and I ordered a cappuccino while waiting for friends and the waitress made it extra hot for me.
Food is great and there is a good selection on the wine list. Tables are well spaced out too.
I have eaten here about 4 times now.
10/03/17. Excellent venue
Lovely meal in a lovely restaurant I’ll definitely return and recommend it highly
Enjoyed the Larder. We went for a friend's birthday and it had a touch of elegance about it, without the necessary costs.
Went here for my dad's 51st Birthday, he loved and and the food was great
It would be better with music or something! Could hear the conversation easily at the next table and knew they could hear us!
Otherwise a lovely meal!!
Unfortunately started badly as no record of my booking even though I showed my open table confirmation on my phone. Although told not a problem we were shown to the worst table in the house even though there were plenty of bright spacious tables available. Starters were good - goats cheese and chicken wings. Very disappointed with my cod mail course - nearly choked on a huge bone and there were lots more where that came from! Steak main was flattened and quite dry. Won't be back!
Good value early bird menu, non touristy despite being right by Temple Bar. Their own beers are really good
The Larder is a gem with lovely staff and delicious wines. 😀
Our meal was served promptly and service was friendly. The food was excellent ,everything we ate was tasty and well presented. We had no complaints at all and enjoyed the casual friendly atmosphere. I would definitely return, we consider it a great find !
Very enjoyable meal. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is tasty and well presented. One of the nicest rib eye steak I've eaten in a long time. Great location in town, close to some great bars. We will definitely return to The Larder.
Our gnocchi was completely overcooked. When we complained we were told by waitress "it's meant to be like that ... we cook it so it melts on the tongue". Our other friends meal was cold. Far too expensive for what you get. We decided not to give a tip as it wasn't deserved only to discover afterwards on receipt that we were charged a percentage of the bill anyway as a tip! We won't be going back!
Good food, friendly staff but we were seated beside the door (despite booking weeks beforehand) and it was freezing. When we were finishing our deserts we were brought our bill and informed we had to move as they had another booking.
Cosy venue, nice atmosphere and attentive friendly staff. Food was very tasty and reasonably priced and the wine was excellent!
Lovely selection on the Xmas lunch menu, great value & service
Have eaten here on a number of occasions and I have been pleased every time.
Cozy atmosphere. Had a family dinner with 7 people and had back corner to ourselves. I thoroughly enjoyed the roasted chicken with butternut squash and risotto. Others in our group enjoyed the special of Sea bream and the Gnocchi.
Delicious food, my friend and I both had the cod. Excellent service, very attentive- our server came to check on us many times. Nice friendly atmosphere. I will return.
