The Larder Restaurant & Brewhouse
Friday - Saturday: 12pm-10.30pm
We come to the restaurant for years, last time was around 6 months ago. Unfortunately we did notice a drop of the food quality. Chicken wings aside (current not on the menu) the steak which was one of the best in town, isn't cooked or prepared in the same way as before. Presentation was shocking poor (pub level).
Other than that the staff was great, ambience super, and desserts were "ok"
Starters very limited devistated they dont do wings anymore only reason we went to be honest they were best wings in dublin
One of our party had to send back her main course twice. Also, one of person had availed of the early bird yet was charged the full amount.
Lovely food, nice ambience, friendly efficient staff. We’ll be back!
Great restaurant with amazing food at good prices and lovely staff, smiley, fun and welcoming ! I totally recommend it !
Very good place for steak. Friendly and caring service. Worth frequent visits.
Food was tasty, staff was more than friendly and helpful, would definitely go back.
Excellent quality of food and great choices. Good service. Relaxed atmosphere. Bottles of wine rather steep in price though, so didn’t order one.
Great food, great service. highly recommended. great spot for lunch
Duck was cooked perfectly, really tasty meal. Had chocolate pot for dessert which seemed underdone ( was cold in the middle ). Boyfriend had chicken wings, nice crispy coating and good kick to them and lamb burger.
Food was delicious, staff were friendly and the whole space was really warm and welcoming. Definitely will go back!
Food and Service as good as ever. We had friends along this time and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Best lamb burger I've had in years. Good wine, quiet atmosphere and attentive service.
Really nice, would like to say outstanding but the loos were a let-down! Quite a tricky route, and tiny... but that’s only a small thing.. I loved our table at the window, the waiting staff, the food was very good, service was quick, lovely atmosphere.. buzzing nicely without being too noisy. Pity we had to rush, but would liked to have stayed longer at our table chatting... I’d definitely go back ! Good value too for nice non-fussy tasty food... 👏👏
the service is bad. there is no smile. We arrived and were told we booked for 7pm when we booked for 6pm.
The waitresses are not very friendly. Food is good. very limited early bird menu choice.
Food is very tasty. Great wine. Will be back.
Overall very pleasant, very good food and service and nice cosy setting. However one slight complaint in that the table beside us was very close to us, we almost felt like we were a party of 4 rather than two separate parties of 2.
Really stylish restaurant, high quality food and friendly staff. I really enjoyed a dinner with my boyfriend.
Been to this place a few times and enjoyed it every time. To start, we had the chicken wings (best I've had in a long time) and the goats cheese starter. Both excellent. For the mains, she had the sea bass risotto special and I had the duck. Hers was lovely but I was a bit disappointed in the duck to be honest as I felt it was lacking a bit of flavour. To finish we shared the chocolate pot desert which was gorgeous and not to heavy. With drinks (glass of house red & a coke) the bill worked out at 87 including tip so not bad value at all for a Friday night in Temple bar . Would defo recommend.
The front seemed to have gotten a make over in the since I was last there about 5 months and it looks good.
We were the annoying table who booked for 7, then one was late and we had to order hers over the phone, and another 2 showed late for only a glass of wine. They couldnt have been nicer about it. And the food was wonderful too!
The food was delicious, very tasty and generous on the proportions. The service was great and fast, and the waiters absolutely charming. I would recommend also for the atmosphere, very cosy and romantic.
Had a beautiful meal with a friend here last Friday the food was excellent and the service was quick and professional. Will be back again .
Very good. Nicely prepared food. Very loud. Good service. Could not make a Manhattan. Brew house is a misnomer.
Thoroughly enjoyed my evening at the larder with the girls. Delicious food, fantastic service and great value! Can’t wait to go back!
We booked a table for 8 people and we had the early bird menu, the food was excellent, staff very friendly and attentive. The food tasted fresh, lovely decor, couldn’t fault it.
Really good on a great location! Such great staff too. Thanks
The evening menu and quality of food was much better than the lunch menu. First time having lunch here, and i was disappointed, had higher expectations after the evening menu. I'd sirloin steak and it was horrible, and not cooked to my preference which was medium. The cheese board while it read great, was extremely underwhelming.
Really tasty quality food with excellent service. Ideal for 2 people not suitable for large groups (tables of 6+) as it's quite a small dining space and the noise can get overbearing. We had a table of 8 near us when we were there and the noise from one of the diners was very intrusive - not the restaurants fault and I think they did ask them to keep the noise down.
We loved this restaurant. It is small, but had plenty of atmosphere and the staff were really friendly and attentive. The food was exceptional and of good quality and value for money. We would certainly go back again if we were ever in Dublin.
Loved the larder,,the food was beautiful,(steak was cooked perfectly). The staff were very professional and attentive, really worth a visit..thanks for a lovely meal and a great night
Great restaurant, ordinarily would never have come here only for opentable, never knew it existed even though I walked by it a few times a week. Lovely food, reasonably priced, overall very happy, will definitely come again
We love it here! Always great food and great service.
Food OK. Noisy but good ambience. My cheesecake was left on the side for about 15 minutes before being served at our table. We were too polite complain and were keen to get bill to leave.
Lovely restaurant, amazing food, good variety and decent portions, great early bird menu, great wine and the staff were really attentive and lovely. Def would recommend
Busy, cosmopolitan restaurant on Parliament Street. The restaurant is cosy with a buzzing atmosphere. The menu is short but has plenty of choice. Steak Night is particularly good value. The service is friendly and efficient. All in all The Larder is a good venue for casual, good-value dining.
The larder is a good place, we went there for a brunch. The food is good but a bit expensive for what it is. Only small issue is that my friend wanted to order one of then option which wasn't available whereas it was the beginning of the service. Good place anyway
the food was amazing and the staff were so friendly. would definitely recommend it
excelnt food, excellent service, excellent value. We would totally recommend The Larder
Very friendly front of house staff. .First time here, loved the ambience . .Lunch menu was very varied . Food was very tasty ...Everything felt 'real' and not pushy ...will definitely be back.
Lovely spot with home brewed beers and very good quality food. The chicken wings are superb as are the meat and fish dishes.
