   We had a fantastic afternoon tea here. However 23 euro for a glass of champagne is very expensive. Our service was excellent. I would have liked the pot of tea to remain at the table as we had to.ask everything and we were left waiting on occasion. In the past there was a guy playing the piano which really added to the ambience and created a special atmosphere. But today the piano was not there and it seems to have been removed from the room. I would really recommend the shelbourne for a special occasion. It it very pricey but so very worth it for an occasion we were celebrating a 90th birthday and the staff made my mum feel so extra special. Thankyou

   One of the most exquisite High Tea experiences we’ve ever had. The hotel is a sparkling diamond…. Or actually it is an emerald and you’ll understand why when you walk through the doors!! The food was beyond delicious. The ambience was sublime. And be to honest I wanted to take the chef, the sandwiches and our delightful server Patrice all back in my suitcase. I’ve woken up dreaming of the sandwiches and will be back for this high tea the soonest I can! And in terms of tea and the variety and flavors available… oh my!! what a fine selection. Thank you to all the team at The Lord Mayor. You made our Dublin visit incredibly special.

   A wonderful afternoon spent in the Shelborne hotel. Afternoon tea was delicious and delightful a warm Dublin welcome upon arrival and continued with professional personal service I would highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

   Beautiful experience to celebrate my birthday. Loved the setting, quality delph, cutlery and tablecloths etc. made us feel very special. Staff very attentive without intruding. Exceptional service. So many different teas on offer and the ones we tried were gorgeous. The brown bread on the chicken sandwiches was a little stale but the white bread egg sandwiches were delicious. We did not have the salmon sandwiches as we dont eat fish and more chicken sandwiches were given instead. Pity there wasn't another option, given that I had specified that when booking. Scones were as light as air and the other cakes were all fabulous. We were unable to eat everything and our server boxed up the rest to take home. Overall a lovely experience

   Had afternoon te here with my mom and sister to celebrate their visit to Dublin and USA Mother’s Day! We absolutely loved the experience from the food, service and ambience.

   Always a lovely experience. The staff are welcoming, polite and friendly. My only issue is time allotted. Feel 1 hour 45 mins is okay but patrons should be able to linger for longer if desired especially when there are lots of free tables. Otherwise, an overall very pleasant time.

    Staff couldn’t do enough to help. Dressed professionally and impeccable service. Friendly from the moment we arrived and not rushed at any stage. Offers plenty of replenishment of food and tea / coffee. Excellent experience
