   A wonderful afternoon tea experience. Excellent staff who were very attentive and professional. Beautiful decor in the Lord Mayor's Lounge. Food and beverages were of a high standard. The staff boxed up any leftovers for us to take home. I would go again but at a later sitting than my booking of 12 O'clock as it was very quiet then. A truly lovely experience for my Mum and I.

    Afternoon tea at the shelbourne never disappoints. The servers were absolutely so lovely and attentive. Our cups of tea were constantly refilled and sandwiches replenished when required. Was a lovely outing and experience.

    I brought my daughter for a belated birthday treat. Everything was lovely. We would recommend the chicken sandwiches and cured salmon the most for savoury. Scones with jam and clotted cream next, and out of the desserts, the trifle. Thank you Imelda who welcomed us so warmly, Michal who served us along with his colleagues. A lovely memory for the two of us to have.

    On vacation from the states. Brough 2 of my adult children for their first high tea. They had no idea what to expect and loved the experience! One of us has food allergies and proper accommodations where made in great detail! The hotel is stunning and the staff very attentive. It was a wonderful time!

    On arrival we were 15 mins early but was greeted by a very helpful lady who advised us to have a drink in the bar and she would notify the lounge that we had arrived, we had just seated when we were approached and told that our table was then ready, they brought through our drinks to the lounge for us, once there our coats were taken to be hung and we were advised how the menu worked which seemed limitless. Our waitress was very pleasant and helpful and made sure we were contented at all times. The food itself was beautiful and there was an abundance of choice for teas and coffee. We were not able to finish all our serving and we were offered to bring the remaining home with us which we did, it was boxed up so beautifully, unfortunately after using the restrooms I had left the box behind us! All in all it was a very relaxed and enjoyable experience and couldn’t recommend the staff enough for their efficancy and hospitality shown. A great day we will certainly revisit

    Amazing experience with impeccable service, delicious food, in a lovely environment. Would have preferred more savoury items as the food was a bit heavy on the sweet side but this is a personal preference and you can ask for more sandwiches anyway (like a fancy all-you-can-eat 😁)

    All perfect: setting, service and food. Lots of variety of tea to choose from, both of those i tried were amazing. Not cheap of course but definitely worth it for a special occasion. Recommended.

    Thoroughly enjoy Afternoon Tea with my Mother for her birthday. Staff were very attentive and knowledgeable. Trainee working and he was fabulous. Informed us that menu changes in the summer so yet to re-book for summer time. Fabulous experience. We will be back.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea yesterday. Our waiter Paul was welcoming, efficient and an all round excellent host. His friendly smile and chat added to the “afternoon tea experience” We had two drinks in the bar and all the staff there were great too.

    Everything was excellent, without fault except for the fact that we felt somewhat rushed out . We were served our food and drink at about 2.50 and we were given our coats at about 4pm. We understood that the next sitting was at about 5pm and just expected to be able to stay till about 4.30 - a leisurely two hours.

    Very disappointed with service, nobody offered to take coats. When paying was asked when the voucher for afternoon tea was purchased and then there was a long pause with no eye contact before I was told that the voucher would cover the tea. The voucher has been bought in July 2022 for afternoon tea for two, there should not have been any uncomfortable moments like this. I was ready to stand my ground but I know that other people would have felt very embarrassed by this.

    Great ambience, very attentive and friendly staff. Excellent selection of tea and coffee and sandwiches. Very fancy selection of desserts perhaps a bit too sweet for our taste, but nevertheless very good. Overall a lovely experience, highly recommended!
