Welcome to The Lucky Duck, a cosy neighbourhood bar on the ground floor, with a series of elegant cocktail rooms as you venture up the stairs to the first and second floor. We are serving up the finest Indian tapas and delectable cocktails 7 days a week

When you come in for your booking, please mention the name on the booking to the bartender and our host will seat you in one of our Cocktail Lounges.

Our cocktail menu is centred around great produce, bold flavours and simplicity. We aim to produce drinks that are sustainably minded, less waste and more taste. If it’s a straight-up drink you’re after, we have plenty of those, too.

Our food menu is a modern take on classic Indian cuisine. Our small plates pack a big punch and will never fail to deliver. Perfect for any occasion or appetite!

We are proud to have revived this Dublin landmark and look forward to welcoming you!

    Had a meal here last night with my partner and 2 friends and we were really really impressed!!! The food was unreal, the menu was really interesting and lots of veggie options too!! Only lost a star for service because our dessert was served before our mains empties were taken. Otherwise service was fab, friendly informative staff. Will defo be back, and to try the cocktails too!!

    We have been to the lucky duck 4 times now, and everytime its been very good. Great selection of cocktails and drinks, and something a bit different than your usual Indian restaurant. Will be going again for sure

    It was such a treat dining in this restaurant on Friday. Best Indian food I've ever tasted. The service was fantastic. The venue is chic and cool. I'll be back

    Had a lovely evening at The Lucky Duck. Most of the food was great, and really delivered. The Samosa Chaat was dry, not balanced and not worth it. The cocktails were delicious though on the sweeter side. The staff was really thoughtful and friendly. Had a lovely evening!

    Food was very tasty but service was disorganized and we we asked to give up our table after 75 minutes. They also couldn’t find our reservation!!!

    Food and cocktails are very good and staff attentive. The portions are small given the price and there is little or no accompaniment - such as a small portion of rice or bread. The cost of these small elements would be minor and they mean that the meal leaves you slightly unfulfilled even though the quality is excellent. I realise it is tapas but if you are paying 13 euro per main tapa, you are entitled to expect a little more.

    Really pleased we ate here. Had the Indian tapas and loved every plate. The onion bhajis were a little bit different with the samphire mixed in. My husband really enjoyed the lamb and the duck cigars were fabulous. We heard they did the cocktails which tempted us in, and we weren’t disappointed. My husband really enjoyed their take on an old-fashioned and the Diceman cocktail I ordered was so good I ordered a second. Nice service and location.

    Second time here and it exceeded expectations. Atmosphere was so relaxed and we were looked after so well from start to finish. Didn't get food but it looked fab! Drinks were amazing decor is lovely. Toilets were immaculately clean. Would highly recommend.

    We were on a double date and we’re sitting next to the fire place on the second floor on Saturday 8th July 2023… the atmosphere, cocktails, ambiance and most of all the service and attention from the waiter was phenomenal!! I can’t recall the waiters name but I believe he was French, he had black hair and a beard… absolutely amazing he knew the exact cocktails to recommend and made our evening out in the Lucky Duck fantastic!! Top class service!!!

    First time there,it used to be our local many many years ago(the aungier house)very different now,really really good job done it’s a georgous place,really done to a high standard & toilets are just beautiful,staff were really lovely & we were made to feel so welcome,food was delicious & really great value,love the tapas idea,only thing that probably would stop us goin bac was the price of a glass of wine,we live in Dublin 8 so we expect to pay €8 a glass but the measures were very small

    Very nice date-spot, food unbelievable, the service was absolutely fantastic. A bit overprice for what especially because they have 12,5% as a service charge (they say on the menu tho). Overall very good
