Sean’s mouth-watering new menu is as always sourced locally with some ingredients even grown on the very grounds of the Cliff at Lyons Estate. Food lovers will enjoy classics such as Roast Rib of Beef, Cherry Valley Duck Breast and Oven Baked Baby Turbot with sides of seasonal vegetables, mini Seafood platters and of course for something a bit sweet, Whiskey & Orange Ice Cream or Chocolate Fondant with Salted Caramel Ice Cream.

The Mill restaurant is the heart of Cliff at Lyons, with huge double-height ceilings, warm open fire and windows that open up to a terrace beside the mill race and waterfall. Here, you will find a relaxed style of dining where it is easy to enjoy a lunch or dinner with friends or family. The illuminated waterfall provides a unique back drop to this airy and spacious room.

    Amazing place for a lunch few min away from Dublin! We got table in the garden and was just fantastic, adding that weather was fab! Really enjoyed the food and wine. A place that I will go back to!

    It was such a pleasure to dine In the Mill, the whole environment is tranquil but full of history and joy. The lady served our table is so kind and helpful , we will definitely come back again.

    Ordered 2 full portion main courses and one half a portion for a child. In the end were charged for 3 full portions. We didn't feel like sorting it out there but left with a bad feeling from being ripped.

    It was my husbands birthday and I wanted to make it special given his last two were in lockdown. We were not disappointed. He’s coeliac and it was easy to get GF options on the menu and also to get some adapted. The wine list is good too. All in all a lovely experience.

    Outstanding menu, my son loved the muscles and the hake, I had probably the best rissotto ever plus an amazing strawberries and zabaglione dessert. My husband loved his roast beef with Yorkshire pudding the size of Yorkshire. Beautiful.

    Lovely restaurant, very tasty food with a good selection, was delighted with my meal. The cherry dessert is to die for!!!! Staff were very helpful. There was a lovely relaxing vibe in this restaurant. Will definitely return.

    The food was wonderful. Every member of our party was very impressed with the quality of the meal. It is a fine venue - formal enough without being stuffy. By current standards, the meal was reasonably priced given the very high quality and attention to detail. Service was friendly and courteous though we had to ask four times for bread to accompany the starter. The lunch menu is sufficiently diverse (good fish and vegetarian options) with the perfect number of options (not too many or too few). Well worth it.

    This is a delightful restaurant, great food, super attentive staff. We had both lunch and dinner in the evening and had different menus each time. A lovely treat in a lovely setting. We will be back.

    I increased my booking at the last minute and it was confirmed via email very quickly. Very attentive and welcoming staff. On noticing my son holding a present they asked if it was a special occasion and when dessert arrived it had a very tastful Happy Birthday written on a chocolate square. Our waitress was really chatty and helpful. A really pleasurable experience. Thankyou to all the staff for their expertise in cooking devine food and looking after us so well

    Honestly, unfortunately one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. The food was very overpriced. Some of the main courses did not even come with potato/veg. There was 6 of us, 4 adults 2 children. Only 2 of us had starters. Each of us had a main course and 3 of us had drinks. Because the pork and the Hake did not come with pot/veg they cost extra. We had no desserts, no teas and coffees. The bill came to 250 euro. The restaurant was over-heated, very uncomfortable. The bizarrest seat we ever had in a restaurant. My family was visiting and the whole experience really ruined our day. Overall a terrible experience.

    Incredible food and service. Best beef I’ve had in a long time. Nice atmosphere. It was busy but it was Easter Sunday, so to be expected. Friendly and quick service. Pricey but quality, Will be back.
