We wanted to create a place that would bring world class dining with a welcome atmosphere to the Las Vegas, Summerlin area. Not a large corporation or a franchise, but owned and run by locals. We are not competing with the strip. We are an alternative, right down the street.

The Mixx is found in the popular and convenient Boca Park shopping center at the edge of Summerlin and Queensridge, offering an accessible atmosphere to drink and dine in style. From the modern and vibrant décor inside and comfortable terrace seating to the playfully handcrafted cocktails, The Mixx is sure to break the mold of everyday dining.

they just started a new menu - TAPAS and was only okay. Somethings arrived different than described on the menu, not in stock, overcooked chicken skewers, cold meatballs, very difficult to eat lettuce wraps. The live music made the night - the guitarist was awesome.

Unfortunately after the concept change it seemed a little lost in experience here. Wasnt greeted when we walked in, waited and loojed around a bit, then flagged down a waitress. Waited 15 min at the table for the server, who was very sweet but..it was an empty restaurant, only 4 tables occupied. Half the food was over salted, depends which chef does your dish, so inconsistency in the tapas. There seemed to be a lot of staff but only 2 of them hustling back and forth. It felt so random, like management was absent.

We couldn't give high marks on food because they were out of two of the meat selections on the grill bar. We all paid the same amount for or grill meals but all of our plates had different amounts of food. They all should have the same even though they have chosen different meats, vegetables etc... Sad to say, I don't think we would return.

The food was above average and we liked that you can pick from the varied items and design your own stir-fry. The restaurant is in a prime location. Not sure if its because of the large cook top used to make your custom selection but the inside of the restaurant was quite warm. We visited when they first opened and experienced bad service. We decided to give them another chance. This time, the service was atrocious! Would not recommend to anyone.

They were out of some of the fixed dinners, and also some of the Fresh Market items. Service was not unfriendly, just not attentive. Had to stop the waitress on her way by our table if we wanted something. Fortunately we went there with a Groupon, so the price was good. However, probably wasn't enticing enough for us to return.

We like the service. The servers are excellent. However this was the second time in a row where they were missing ingredients. I mean seriously no broccoli and no basmati rice at 7:00??? Alcohol was a bit pricy!! I mean how do you run out of 12 year glenlivet with Lee's practically next store. Need better management! If I let supplies run out like this at my business I'd be out of a job. I can see why there was hardly anybody there!

The food and the service were wonderful! My only complaint is that the restaurant itself felt about 90 degrees. There was little to no difference to outside temperature of 95 degrees. There were several tables that said something and we were there for almost 2 hours and nothing changed. Otherwise, great mixed drinks and food and the gentleman who did the live music knew his stuff.

Service was very good. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. The food on the whole was a great value, portions were great, food was tasty and cooked as we liked it. Our only complaint was that the steak was gritty and I ordered iced tea which they were out of (at 6pm). We would go back. We liked the concept.
