   Had the sea bass. We were excited based on reviews. We were disappointed in the virtually tasteless meal. Even adding their in house hot sauce couldn't save it. Maybe we should have chosen something else on the menu, but with both of us choosing the sea bass and being disappointed I could not recommend this restaurant with so many other good ones in The Gulch.

   The food was incredible and the service was great! Highly recommend the doughnut, bagel bites, and the breakfast taco. They were even able to accommodate a friend who was gluten free and wanted the taco. Would definitely come back next time in Nash.

   Everything about the Mockingbird is 5 star. Service was great and went with all our servers recommendations. All 4 of us were very satisfied. Try the Bloody Mary with the Lager and the Zucchini bread. Excellent.

   We loved The Mockingbird! We had a delicious brunch. I had the French toast with fresh berries and my friend had the steak sandwich. My French toast was excellent. The steak sandwich was somewhat small and the steak not especially tender. We loved the atmosphere and the service was great. Our server was very attentive and genuinely nice. Would highly recommend!!

   Food and service were wonderful….our only complaint was the music. You’re in Nashville, 80’s-90’s techno music is not expected, with that being said, county music doesn’t have to be played everywhere. When we asked they said they played eclectic style of music. To me that means you enjoy listening to music from different genres…..they did switch up the music. It still wasn’t something that made for an enjoyable dinner experience. Like I said the food was delicious, our server was knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions we had. Food came out fast and was perfectly cooked, Kudos to the chef and the kitchen staff. So if upbeat atmosphere is what your looking for this is not it. But, if you’re the type of person that doesn’t pay attention to music this place is just your type. Other than the music, I also want to add we found the hostesses to be rude and off-putting. That may be something that wants to be fixed promptly. If you’re not greeted with a warm welcome it can ruin your entire experience. Just a smile and hello entering goes a long way. I would give it a 7.5 mainly because of the music and hostesses.

   The Mockingbird never disappoints. Over several visits I have tried just about every dish on the menu and they have all been wonderful. I especially recommend the Arancini, pork belly and grill cheese appetizers. Their pasta entree, pork loin, and sea bass. For dessert they are all good but the chocolate chip cookie and olive oil cakes are my favorite.

    The Mockingbird was absolutely delicious! Me and my boyfriend went to eat here before a concert. Parking is a little difficult - you want to park in the Whole Foods Parking Garage and then get a valet from the host. The mini brie grilled cheese is truly one of the best things I have ever eaten - so was the burratta. Delicious drinks, lovely decor/vibe - the bar was adorable. Our server was Bailey! She was very sweet - we'll definitely be going back and will be asking to sit in Bailey's section!!! :)

    Stylish place with very good service, but the food was not noteworthy. The highlight was a small plate of brie grilled cheese bites with a chimichurri sauce. Very tasty. Large plate (cauliflower steak) was WAY too big and undistinguished except for its size. Small plate ginger bratwurst corndog was decent but bland; this was more a German-style brat, finely ground an lightly seasoned, while American brats tend to be more coarsely ground and flavorful. Small plate mac and cheese was unremarkable. Two drinks each (Caffeine-me and the OldFashioned-ish for him, a spicy jalapeno drink and a glass of wine for her) and tip brought the total to $166, plus another 20 bucks to park. Pretty plainly overpriced. We could have had a more interesting dinner in 12 South or in Hillsboro Village for less, I reckon, and saved $20 in parking.

    First off…Food was dynamite. The service was very robotic and the server had little to offer. Perhaps he was tired so it is what it is. I believe the atmosphere was pretty good but we were so cramped in, it was tough to enjoy. It seemed like it was an assembly line type experience of you were with a larger group (we were 8).I would have loved to have enjoyed a view of the city rather then to be smooshed into a corner. The food was really dynamite though!

    We really enjoyed our entire evening at the Mockingbird. We were very impressed with the food. It was unique and delicious. There was something for everyone at our table. We can't wait to go back again.

    It was fantastic. The burger was very good. Highly recommend the tots as a side. I wish I got something else a bit lighter just because it was brunch but I don’t regret a thing. I also allowed the server full reign over my main course choice. Bacon and a fried egg are a must if you get the burger. Great cocktails. GET EVERY DESSERT AND EVERY APPETIZER!!!!!

    We went with our family for Mother’s Day and it was perfect. They are so accommodating to children, and we even have allergies in our group. The food was delightful and the service was incredible. We’ll be back!

    My wife, 2 kids (8 yr old and 6 month old) for Mother’s Day brunch. Great experience from beginning to end. Cinnamon roll “starter” was amazing, my wife had the steak sandwich, and I had the “Flock Yes” (which was the best item but all were great). Overall vibe was good and our server was GREAT. One thing to note…PARK IN WHOLE FOODS. Mockingbird validates their parking so it’s $13 for 2 hours (vs $35 in the open lot next to Mockingbird).

    The staff helped make our daughter’s 16th so lovely and memorable! Our waitress was excellent and went above and beyond to seamlessly manage both of our tables for the event. The other patrons were also in such a festive mood and the whole evening was such fun! Thank you!!

    We came in for an early dinner the other night, and could not be more impressed with the atmosphere, service, food, and drinks. Everything was perfect, service was prompt, and our waitress was fantastic. Always love dining here, or grabbing a cocktail with friends.

    Poor service, never refilled our coffee, checked on our entrees after presented to us. One meal was outstanding, the other meal was overcooked, hard and looked worse that something you would get at a fast food restaurant. Our cinnamon roll was not warm. The atmosphere was lovely.

    We enjoyed our dinner at The Mockingbird, but we didn't LOVE it. All dishes were ok, just adequate, but not exceptional. Service was the same, our waiter was fine, nothing wrong, but nothing outstanding.

    Creative names for uniquely flavored dishes! We started with the Rice Rice Baby as a shared appetizer. The Belly of the Feast was my favorite — tasty and served as a small plate entree! The Barbacoa and Cauliflower large plate entrees were perfect for the meat lover and vegetarian at the table. Ended the meal with the delicious banana/peanut butter/chocolate pie as well as a crispy complimentary cookie for the birthday guest.
