Nestled in the heart of Melbourne’s Docklands, The Nixon Hotel is a short walk from Southern Cross Station and Marvel Stadium. The venue is divided into different spaces with a dining room serving a modern Australian pub menu and a bar/bistro area serving brewery fresh tank beer as one of 17 different brews on tap. We are always showing live sport across 15 screens and offer state of the art TAB facilities.               We came from Brisbane to watch the NFL and we chose theNixon to watch our home NRL team Dolphins and yes it was loud but a good loud people enjoying themselves The food was outstanding And the staff were so helpful Live music was amazing too

              The food is pretty good. Everyone enjoyed their meals, portions are very generous. The chicken & mushroom pie, the filling wasn't quite right, but everything else was great. Drinks came out quickly and everyone was happy. It was quite loud in the dining area where we were, but nice to see others out enjoying themselves for Friday lunchtime.

              We had a wonderful night at The Nixon. The crumbed whiting was absolutely delicious. I hope they put it permanently on the menu. The trivia host was amazing as always. Lots of fun and full of energy.
