The Pretender is a unique bar and restaurant. The ambiance and sound system is great. We enjoyed the food and cocktails. I enjoined the Green Eyed Lady; as I have green eyes. Mason, behind the bar, was outstanding We plan to return!

It was our 1st time here. The deco is beautiful! We loved sitting at the bar and making new friends. The pork with cabbage and apples was amazing! We will definitely be back!

Not very impressed with the food the ambience was great . I got Red Snapper and it was very dry and had no flavor just had some tomato sauce. Got the desert Fondue which was a disaster

The decor in the restaurant was superb. Since we were there early, we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the DJ music, but hopefully we can check that out soon. For the music playing, the speakers were great. Andrew gave us fantastic service and tips. This is obviously a place where you go to socialize to have a few drinks, enjoy some good music, and have some small bites to eat. With that in mind, it would be nice if the menu could be expanded for small bytes/shareable plates. Something along the line of what the 1933 Lounge offers.

The Pretender is my new favorite restaurant! Love the vibe, music, food, cocktails and service! I love everything about this place! I felt like I was back in my parents hay day! The decor is very MCM, so groovy!

First time at The Pretender and we loved it. Great environment, service, value for your bourbon list and food. We wished you stayed open longer than 11pm. One suggestion, would love for the lights to be a little dimmer to create that lounge vibe. Can’t wait to return.

We had a great anniversary here. Michael was a server that matched the theme of the establishment: perfectly tuned in, didn’t miss a beat. Michael’s service helped facilitate the overall atmosphere which was fantastic. The decor, music, cocktails , apps, and great execution of the small details made for a great night. Great spot for a date night for some inspired bites and drinks.

We have been wanting to try The Pretender for awhile now and so glad we got in on a Wednesday night. The place is beautiful! Would go just to enjoy the vibe and the creative cocktails! We sat at the bar and ordered ourselves some great food. Started with the deviled eggs; they were amazing! My husband ordered the pork tenderloin which was a flavor bomb! So good! And I ordered the short rib over risotto. It was good too, the meat melted off the bone but the short rib had a pretty significant fat layer. The risotto was a healthy portion and tasted delicious. Looking forward to our next visit!
