   We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at The Riverside Dunblane. The process of reserving a table was easy. The hostess was friendly and welcoming, the service was excellent and the food was fresh, plentiful and delicious. The setting is absolutely beautiful. We will certainly be going back.

   Good service and pleasant lunching experience. Only comment on food is that I had fish & chips but the batter on the fish was far too thick and a bit stodgy.

   With the exception of one of the waiting staff, who appeared to be having a bad day, our experience was very pleasant. The food is slightly on the dear side but very tasty and good portions. There's also a good range of options on the menu with separate vegetarian & gluten free menus available. Would definitely recommend & will be back.

    This is the second time this week I have been to The Riverside with different friends and everyone has really enjoyed it. Food was fab, staff were great cannot fault it and would highly recommend.

    We have come to this great restaurant many times in the past few years, and have always been hugely satisfied with all aspects of its service and food. The staff are well-trained, helpful, and could not be more friendly. The food is lovely, and well-presented ... congratulations to the chef! I cannot be more positive about the Riverside Dunblane ... it is 'pure dead brilliant!" In addition, it is situated in the quaint town next to the River, with lovely walks nearby, and some great wee local shops in which to browse. You must come!!

    Fabulous restaurant, great food and service. My daughter is gluten free, this was the main reason we chose to eat here, full menu for her and everything was delicious. We will be back soon.

    Two of our group chose the saffron fish pie special with potato mash. Unfortunately it did not work as a dish and was more of a chowder - very runny and there was very little flavour. However, our comments were fed back to the kitchen and our complaint dealt with in an excellent way. We will come back - just not order the Fish Pie special! The other two in our group had haddock and chips - excellent.

    It’s high-standard pub food and reliably good every time I go in. Sometimes staff speak a bit informally to customers: “are you after dessert” which could confuse tourists (as it did my guest from south of the border!). I found the bench seating in the booths a bit uncomfortable after an hour or so.

    Very Nice, had lunch here for my mums birthday. Really nice atmosphere, very helpful staff, great food, great setting, nice decor. All in all ideal, really enjoyed it and would definitely visit again.

    Went with wife and two kids under 6. They were very accommodating, and we sat in a room away from other guests without children. The service was great, and the food was ok but pizza a doughy. It cost us about £70 for dinner, including a beer and a glass of wine.

    A wide ranging menu served in a relaxed atmosphere. Gluten-free and small portions available, also lacto-free teas and coffees. Disabled toilet could do with an upgrade. Overall a good place to eat if you need flexibility in your meal time. Staff friendly. Would recommend for a family intergenerational meal.

    The staff were so lovely, but our chips were a little undercooked and the place was freezing. I was actually uncomfortable I was so cold. I had to use my coat as a blanket and my feet were chilled to the bone. Our mains were so lovely though!
