   The best pizza in the whole of Ireland, relaxed friendly accommodating excellent wine reasonably priced. It gets busy, pizzas made to order but they will feed you fab olives and garlic bread to sustain you while you enjoy catching up with friends and family. Well done for maintaining such a top class standard year on year

   Nice atmosphere. Don’t think pizza is as good as it used to be e.g. not as much cheese and quite burnt. Also there should be a garlic only aioli dip. Garlic and lemon does not work in my opinion.

    fabulous place great service the perfect setting the tastiest food quirky, relaxed atmosphere. we sat in the heated outside area (make sure you wear a few layers if you are visiting, then you can adapt to the outside world of eating) Starter of Grissini & serano etc & garlic bread, looks so simple and the taste is so good. Main Pizza, each one was yummy, hot, and tasty. The base is a perfect combination of crispy and soft. We had marguerita, antipasti, sundance and pear & walnut. the best. Dessert: Brownie and Affogato. The two desserts were the perfect finish to a perfect evening out. ( i would mix the two as an even more perfect dessert!) This place is so cute and quirky and rustic. The music filling the eatery was just perfect, lively, in the background but not in your face.

    Always enjoy an evening @The Rusty Oven. The staff are well trained, friendly but knowledgeable & professional, but keep the “casual vibe” that I think, is the essence of the place. Pizzas maintain the high standard. Great eating spot for a holiday village.Thanks all.

    Had another tasty meal. Garlic bread is the best there is and all 5 of us there thoroughly enjoyed our pizzas. Great wee atmosphere and definitely recommend a visit if in the area.

    First time to The Rusty Oven, and it won’t be the last. Was so quirky. Pizzas were beautiful and completely devoured by my family after a climb up Errigal. Kids lovely watching the chefs flipping the pizza bases!! Lovely place…

    What a gem of a place!!! It’s just the perfect spot - quirky with great super friendly staff & incredible pizzas!! I booked for 30 people for my 40th birthday & the staff couldn’t have been better at communicating & sorting things out - even though people had taken one of our tables they soon set it straight & managed to serve us all within a very efficient time frame!! Thankyou so much - really appreciated a lovely bday pizza feast:) we’ll definitely be back!!!

    It has been pleasing to see the Rusty Oven go from strength to strength over the years with it's helpful and friendly staff and interesting food offerings. Had a lovely meal there for our 32nd wedding anniversary. One small peeve is that I think there is something needs seeing to with their sound system. It sounds strange an not very pleasant to listen to whilst previously it sounded grand.

    Had been looking forward to trying this place and it was everything we had hoped for and more. Went with our grown up kids and had a great night - lovely buzz about the place, friendly staff, quirky relaxed surroundings with loads of creative details, and probably the best pizza I've ever eaten. And it was super cheap! Finished off with a few pints in Patsy Dans and a mini-bus taxi home from Martin. Next time we're in Dunfanaghy we'll definitely be back.

    The quality was as good as always but I had the impression that the size of pizzas were smaller than years past. It seems like they’ve cut down in that. I used to not be able to finish 1… and yesterday I had 1 and a half… because they’re smaller.

    We were seated inside in the shed where it was quite chilly. They had only just opened but it was colder in there than outside as it was a sunny evening. We seemed to be forgotten about service wise and had to go looking for staff to order after waiting a while and having staff pass a couple of times to serve food to others and not notice that we were waiting to be served. The green goat pizza was really bland like it was missing something - it's one of my favourites on their menu, but it was bland on this occasion. The other pizza was good. Brownie wasn't great. Staff were friendly. We'll be back.

    We had an excellent meal at the Rusty Oven. The service was excellent and the pizzas were great. We haven't been in a few years and the new addition of the bar staff coming around the tables was a nice bonus. We will definitely return on our next visit to Dunfanaghy.

    Food was delicious, fresh and tasty. The Shed is quirky and comfortable with a wood burning stove and lots of interesting artefacts surrounding you while you eat. We ate in April so was quite chilly, make sure you are warmly dressed.
