We booked a table for 4 of us to have dinner prior to a show. The booking is easily made through the NCH website. When we got to the restaurant we were guided to our seats and we ordered our starters and main courses. The starters arrived promptly and they were delicious. Our mains followed and they were delicious also. We then ordered desserts and we all loved them. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would highly recommend the Terrace prior to any evening show. Just book a table prior to turning up as the restaurant is very popular

The Pork rack was overcooked and tough. It seemed as if it had been pre cooked and reheated as the potatoes were similarly too hard

Very disappointing experience... over 45 min wait for our main course... as we had a show, we ate in 10 min... despite waiters assuring us we would have plenty of time! We were a few tables in the same ordeal. Really not great, and the food was average, a glorified pub grub with a dated menu from 2010... but very 2025 prices, of course. Will not re try nor recommend this place to nobody...

Quality was good but the menu was a bit dull. Service was very good and very friendly. Overall experience was good, it's very pleasant to have dinner right there in the venue before the show.

We were attending an event at the NCH and looking for somewhere to have dinner beforehand. The Terrace was an ideal place and we are so glad we decided to go there. The food was amazing and plentiful. The staff were very friendly and courteous and the restaurant was beautiful. Great night out made all the more special by the Terrace.

Very tasty food at the Terrace - my sister said it was the best seabass she'd ever had - but do get there early. We booked for 6:30 before an 8pm show, and had to leave half our desserts on the table to take our seats in the NCH. Overall a lovely evening though, would recommend.

Pricey for what you get. I had a salad for starter - lacking in flavour. I had sea bass - there was one fillet (sea bass is on the small side anyway) which was overcooked, a teaspoon of leeks (which would not add up to even one of my five a day!) and a finger of potato. Needless to say I was still hungry so ordered desert which I rarely do - the brownie was delicious and filling. My dining partner had bruschetta, which although tasty, was not worth €18. The slow cooked lamb was delicious and was served with rice and a teaspoon of vegetable. What is it with chefs and vegetables? The decor was nice and thankfully for us the dining room was not busy as the tables are on top of each other. The service was good although staff were a bit eager to take away plates and came over twice to do so before we were both finished. Two starters, two mains, one desert and two glasses of wine came to around €120. Although the Terrace is very convenient when there’s a concert on, we’ll find somewhere else to dine the next time.
