    As usual we really enjoyed our meal pre-concert in the Terrace. There’s only one recurring issue.. I booked the table in my name and we all arrive separately. We don’t know that someone else has arrived and been seated. When I arrived the person greeting me with her iPad told me I didn’t have a booking! I showed her the Open Table confirmation and email reminder I’d got. It turned out one of the party had already arrived and been seated so the iPad no longer showed my booking? Surely there should be a better system when a party of 5 does not arrive together? She said there were 120 people arriving but surely the name of the person the table is booked in should be attached to the table number? Next time I will walk around before checking in to avoid the panic I experienced thinking I had not correctly booked for friends!

    A great restaurant with lovely food and lovely service! It can be quite daunting as compared to some other restaurants, this one does not have over a thousand reviews, BUT it is definitely worth it. I can only advise everyone to go and try their lovely cuisine.

    Following an excellent experience recently, we returned to The Kitchen last night. Unfortunately it did not replicate our last outing. Very busy and service was haphazard. We waited 20 mins to order a drink and food. When the food arrived my wife was served the wrong main course. We did not have time to wait for a replacement so she ate what was given. In fairness to the restaurant they did not charge for that course and were apologetic for the error. I would like to think that our experience was a one-off and we will return but it was disappointing.

    From the minute we walked in to the restaurant and were greeted by the lovely friendly staff we had a really enjoyable experience. The food was delicious and really good value and there was a lovely atmosphere there. We will definately return.

    Was there last night before a show in the National Concert Hall. Loved it. The staff are brilliant so polite. The food was amazing loved every bit of it. I would highly recommend here before a show.

    We visited the terrace on a monday evening for dinner and were greeted by Melanie who showed us to our table. We ordered the haddock croquette and soup for starters and the fillet steak and caesar salad as mains. The food was so fresh and the steak was to die for. There is an extensive drinks menu with a full bar/ draught beers and a signature and classic cocktail menu. The service Max, Rachael and Melanie provided was outstanding throughout! We cant wait to come back soon!

    Lovely setting in a great location. Service and quality of food excellent. Service first class. A minor issue with a delayed starter was remedied by a genuine apology, removal of the item from the bill and free drinks delivered to the table. Superb.

    We had lunch at 3pm on a Tuesday and were (or what appeared to us as being) the only customers there. But the staff were still as attentive. Loved how they had water and treats for our dog, were friendly to us all and took the allergy information in their stride. Loved the touch to celebrate the two birthdays. Overall, really enjoyed, will definitely be back.

    Great experience - food, staff, ambience. Sun was shining so especially nice on the terrace. The indoor restaurant is lovely too for overcast days.
