   I've been lots of times and always loved it, including the food, however, this time was abit different so I've downgraded the grade. The menu's changed and instead of Spicy Singapore Noodles with halloumi, which was my favourite, its now Bang Bang Noodles, which is a Korean dish, not as sweet as the Singapore one, and its not advertised with halloumi, just chicken, pork or prawn, however, they did add halloumi for me when I asked. I was also very disappointed with the chocolate orange brownie sunde as it was just chocolate orange ice cream with a bit of brownie and chocolate sauce, no whipped cream. Lastly the coffee was lukewarm and when I asked for a hotter one they zapped it in the microwave for too long and it was scalding and when I eventually could drink it , it tasted burnt. The waiter didn't appear to care less but the waitress was patient and polite.

   Fantastic food and drink as usual. Even got 2 bottles of Prosecco as it was one of the parties 60th birthday. A very nice touch. Thank you Josh. See you again very soon.

   My friend & I had a lovely lunch yesterday at the Thomas Egerton. Our food was very tasty & we received good service as always from Carla. I would have given a higher score, but I am a pescatarian who doesn't eat spicy food & has an onion allergy, so there really is only one main course on their latest menu that I can eat. More choice that is either vegetarian or pescatarian & not spicy would be lovely. There are no starters on the current menu that I can eat, so please bring back the delicious salmon mousse you used to do, as that was absolutely delicious.

   Great service , amazing food , reasonably priced . We had nachos to start , very nice my friend had 2 small plates , more than enough food . My Piri Piri Chicken was juicy & perfectly cooked . The hand cooked chip’s amazing.

   Had a brilliant meal in the Thomas Egerton. Nothing was too much trouble … a lovely birthday effort was made to make my daughter feel special. Service was outstanding by all staff and food gorgeous. Could not fault this visit and 100 % will be back.

    I ordered the from the Sunday menu which was Soup, Roast Beef and the Sticky Toffee Pudding. I was a real treat and very filling. My partner ordered the Spicy and Crispy Pork plus Side Salad with Hand Cut Chips which was absolutely delicious and altogether good sized portions so much so that we were able to takeaway at the end. £47.50 with coffee, a large wine and a coke. We found parking very simple with spaces available at 2pm on a Sunday. The staff were professional and in good number. The manager was attentive and really invested in providing a place you would want to visit. Certainly recommend and look forward to returning as the menu looks varied and comforting.     A great visit to The Thomas Egerton. As always the staff were friendly and food as described. My friend & I were catching up so we’re delighted to be sat in a quieter area where we could chat. There was no urgency from the staff for us to move/leave which was lovely.

    Unfortunately our drinks order was overlooked twice and we had to remind the staff. The food portions were generous but again took a while to be served. It was a busy Friday evening, however the service let the place down.

    Had a lovley meal with friends and my 9 year old had a little date night with her boyfriend the staff went above and beyond to make it special for them! Thomas edgerton had lovley chilled vibes was happy I went and the food was excellent and reasonably priced! Was happy we went and will be back again.
