The Venice West’s posted hours are: Brunch, Saturday and Sunday 11:00 am–3:00 pm; Happy Hour, Tuesday through Thursday 6:00 pm–7:30 pm; Dinner, Tuesday through Thursday and Sunday 6:00 pm–9:00 pm, Friday and Saturday 6:00 pm–10:00 pm.
The Venice West feels like a music-first supper club, a moody, intimate room with a long bar, tables and a dance floor around a small stage, excellent sound, and an energetic, often very loud live-music vibe.
Weekends are a highlight for brunch, Saturday’s Grateful Brunch is especially popular, and brunch is served both Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 am–3:00 pm.
Smart casual is the guide, aim for polished but relaxed clothes that are neat and put‑together without formalwear.
The Venice West centers on a long bar with tables and booths opposite it, a standing-room/dance floor in front of the stage, and a small VIP/front-table area along the stage, there are only a handful of non‑VIP tables, so guests often recommend reserving if you want a guaranteed seat.
Some guests find plates generous enough to share, one reviewer specifically noted portions were enough to share with their guest.
For a spirited weekend visit, go to The Venice West’s Grateful Brunch on Saturdays (around midday through the early afternoon), guests call the Saturday Grateful Brunch a lot of fun and it runs during the posted brunch hours. If you’re coming for a dinner-and-show night, plan to arrive for dinner service (dinner begins at 6:00 pm) so you can eat before the performance and have a better chance of finding street parking.
Yes, weekend Grateful Brunches are family-friendly: guests note the Grateful Brunch on Saturdays is free to all ages and it runs during the posted brunch hours, making Saturday midday a good option for families.
