There will be a strong range of quirky and every day (!) wines befitting of a neighbourhood restaurant, which makes for a special occasion, or a casual dining experience. Given the locale and the fact that we hope to welcome families, there are exciting, healthy and accessible foods for kids (plus some little quirks to keep them interested, engaged and most importantly, occupied!), a host of diner classics, and a particularly extensive steak selection. We are working with some of our favourite craft butchers to create our own aging room and source some amazing salt-aged meats.
Much better than expected!! We were in Ireland for holiday for 4 days. Took a cab from downtown Dublin. Had read about the Sunday Roast here. They didn't have the Sunday Roast. There are 4 of us (between us 4) we had steaks, burgers, many sides, beers, wine and a number of desserts. Every single thing was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant. The service was very friendly. Make a reservation, take the short ride there and enjoy yourself. You won't regret it.
We came more than 15 min too late, in Germany ( we are from Germany) it would be a small catastrophy, but not in washerwoman. We"re eating very well, our glasses were full all the time. We're ja having very nice evening. We're got recommended couple of Lokal pub's and we hot a Taxi to get there. Nice friendly Ambiente and execellent food.
Yes it was a very nice place to eat but if you are going for something to eat make sure you stay away from the main door as it is very cold when the door is opened. The food was good but the Turkey dinner was a bit dry and the potatoes I believe are reheats. Staff are all very friendly and very efficient.
Had a fab meal, beautiful atmosphere, great service.
We absolutely loved it! Gorgeous atmosphere, lovely staff and amazing food and wine! Couldn't recommend it highly enough! We will be back!
Nice food and good setting. Unfortunately our group had to sit apart. The food was nice. I recommend the wings, Nice produce.
Lovely unpretentious food best bistro type I've had in a long time. Lovely setting and great service.
I regularly bring others here and love this place. Really great food, much from Irish producer. Just wonderful to have this in our locality.
We had a gorgeous meal with great service abc delicious wine.. looking forward to going back again soon
Lovely food great service will go again service was fast but we were rushed
Very accommodating for dietary requirements, chef adapted dishes to suit which was welcomed. Very knowledgable staff regarding food allergies and intolerances
We went for my husband's birthday dinner. The meal was both unpretentious and delicious. The staff were affable and considerate, and made great recommendations. We couldn't believe how relaxed the atmosphere was on a busy Friday night! We look forward to coming back.
Cosy, inviting with generous service and food portions. A great modest wine list from around the world. Id certainly eat there again.
Great food and very helpful staff. Not cheap but a very enjoyable overall experience.
Underwhelmed by the food especially considering the price. Chicken wings could have been cooked more - skin was undercooked. Pork belly was very fatty and the ingredients it was paired with were mismatched. Brownie and wine were lovely
Fabulous food the staff were brilliant
Great neighborhood restaurant. Service always good. Very generous portions!
Very nice food and ambiance. Only thing is was very very warm and radiators were pumping out heat.
Lovely fish and chips and brownie.
We had a wonderful evening - the food was delicious and the service was excellent .
I love the relaxed feel of this place. We had an early dinner. The food was excellent. Service was well-timed and friendly, wine of the week was delicious.
Great service , lovely food and congenial atmosphere. We had a fab night x
I thought it was too expensive for a brunch menu. The menu was also quite narrow.
Great restaurant. Food amazing. Staff very friendly and attentive. Good value. Will definitely be back again.
Gorgeous meal, the starters were particularly good. I had the burger which was good but lacking a little in flavour. Otherwise a fantastic experience with great service.
beautiful food with highest quality fresh ingredients. Excellent wine selection.
Lovely menu of food with an abundance of Irish suppliers. Can be on the pricey side so we save it for a family treat. Good options for kids and staff are always lovely to them. Staff always attentive and welcoming
Their menu is limited which is refreshing as it favours the quality of the dishes over quantity. They serve great food here with an emphasis on Irish produce, have a good selection of wines, excellent cocktails , plus friendly and knowledgeable staff. It is expensive but I think the prices are reasonable considering what you get. Highly recommended.
Lovely food and staff
Lovely meal with great, friendly service. Already looking forward to our next visit.
amazing place! beautiful food! cant wait to go back!
Cheese croquettes tasted fine but because they are made with blue cheese don't look great.
Tasty food with excellent service. Well worth a visit. Always dine there when we are in the area.
Great for the area lovely resturaunt . simple home cooking
Washerwoman is one of my faves and still is , but when I ate here last week my food wasnt up to par as it usually is, I always get wings , and this time they let me down. A tad soggy and not much buffalo sauce. Everyone else in my group were extremely happy with their food so I’m putting mine down to a one off. But the thing that really ruined it was the price of a kids meal. €10 for a measly burger and chips, and €5 for literally two tiny scoops of ice cream. Total rip off. I will be back just without my children.
Lovely cosy restaurant with a snug but modern feel. Delicious food. Go for the ceaser salad with anchovies and a glass of cool rose! Very helpful and attentive staff which is a big incentive.
We were a table of 7 on Saturday night and had a very enjoyable experience. We got a warm welcome, and a beautiful meal that everyone was happy with. It was our first time and we will definitely be back
Visited Washerwomans to celebrate wedding anniversary. Very dissapointed with dinner menus which had very limited choice. Food served up was poor and almost unedable. Lamb stake was full of fat and chips were over cooked and were more like crisps than chips. Also vastly overpriced for the food we were served up. Will definitely not be dining there again
Lovely food, which we got to enjoy in the sun outside in their secret garden.
Very nice food lovely staff, a bit pricey for a suburban restaurant.
Very nice meal in the Washerwomans, well worth a visit.
