There will be a strong range of quirky and every day (!) wines befitting of a neighbourhood restaurant, which makes for a special occasion, or a casual dining experience. Given the locale and the fact that we hope to welcome families, there are exciting, healthy and accessible foods for kids (plus some little quirks to keep them interested, engaged and most importantly, occupied!), a host of diner classics, and a particularly extensive steak selection. We are working with some of our favourite craft butchers to create our own aging room and source some amazing salt-aged meats.

I was expecting more... the place in nice and cosy but the food was basic, nothing outstanding, yet quiet pricey for what it was. Staff was nice and helpful, but the menu is limited and nothing I saw justifies the pricey food
Love this restaurant and we are regular visitors. Great children’s menu, would just love the edition of a pasta dish on the kids menu. However saying that our youngest son adored the cornflake chicken.
Nachos are amazing. Soup was so good as was the breaded cheese. And our eldest son loved the striploin steak.
Best brunch bar none! Veggie breakfast is done so well and generous portions make it great value, gorgeous homemade brown bread. Lovely coat atmosphere and great service.
Presentation of my waffles was pretty bad. Hard to believe they let it out of the kitchen. No style or finesse to it. Just a load of bacon dumped on top - for €14 I expect more.
Pretty amazing place. Small and quaint, but casual and comfortable. Fine dining without the pretentiousness. Service was efficient, but could be more personable.
First of all, the interior design and all the decorations from menu to wooden door toilet are perfect. The blue and the wood together is calm and enjoyable.
Food is good but not amazing. Nothing very special. The chicken main course lacks a bit of flavour in it. Side salad is my favorite part.
Waiter doesn't smile a lot during serving, but we did have a good talk when we pay.
Price is a bit high compared to the quality.
Will go back to try the fish main course. Hope it won't let me down.
Really enjoyed the Washerwomen's , food was great. Was a lively spot, good service.
Only gripe was the cost of a beer and wine.
Best Irish restaurant so far! Definitely coming back! High quality tasy food and many options.
We went for a birthday dinner. The food was delicious and service was great! Such a lovely local restaurant. Will definitely go back.
I’ll start with the positives, Bellini, Albariño, Tomato Salad, Striploin, Coffee & Sticky toffee pudding all good. We weren’t told what was NOT available until we’d ordered it which was a little annoying. My starter of ‘hand dived Irish scallops with black pudding & rhubarb’ was very underwhelming - not least because I got just ONE tiny scallop with 2 slices of black pudding. This is €12! Complained & was quickly brought a 2nd tiny scallop. Husband had Cornflake Chicken, aside from the novelty of coloured cauliflower, he felt it it was an average weekday dinner. My main was Striploin, very tasty & tender. Veg was sitting in a pool of water which wasn’t pleasant, chips were ok. Unfortunately I poured my pepper sauce before tasting it & it was so salty it was inedible. Had to complain again & was offered an alternative which was fine once I’d scraped what I could off the meat. Staff offered our coffees & dessert (we only wanted 1 to share) on the house, which I appreciated. But this was an anniversary dinner & a very rare opportunity to get out so I was very disappointed.
We really enjoyed our meal, the service was great, food was delicious, setting was nice. However, there was a shortage of gluten free options. They do have gluten free bread, but it is such a pity that more dishes aren't thickened with cornflour!
Very nice restaurant, great Early bird deal. We will be back!
Nice place, we had to wait a little for our meal but it was worth it.
The food was delicious and locally sourced. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the ambiance of the restaurant is lovely. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a romantic couples meal!
We go here a lot. It's a great spot for Sunday lunch,
Really overpriced bad food. Got the roast beef, terrible flavour with watery gravy and 3 black potatoes for 19 euro.
Lovely night, delicious food and wonderful friendly service from Valerie and all the staff
My husband and I came here for our anniversary. The food was delicious, cocktails excellent and the staff were absolutely lovely. I would highly recommend it my friends and family and we'll definitely be back again.
Our meal was lovely. Each of us commented on the tasty food we were served. the service was pleasant. Personally my only concern is that I think the food is pricey. The location worked well for us as it is not far from the M50.
I bought a gift voucher for a table for 4 = and in was a big birthday for my brothers in laws. They say they had a terrible meal - had to send back dishes - and found the service indifferent even rude. I was horrified given it was a 120 gift to try and celebrate after a lot of illnesses. I had been recommended the restaurant and had earlier bought a gift voucher for 60 for my brother and his wife and they had had an early bird and had not reported a negative experience....but I'm so upset that this group had such a bad experience and poor and in their view indifferent food and service.
Truly unusual menu with exceptional service and amazing taste. Really enjoyed the meal and highly recommend.
Food and service was great. However, food very overpriced. Also did not like being asked would I like to tip with my card, when paying.
The food was excellent, staff helpful and friendly.
Great little restaurant. 1st time hoping to it but definitely won't be my last..
Very good meal and excellent value for a Saturday evening.
good food but was told they were too busy to make us cocktails
The food was absolutely fantastic. The menu had a nice selection of dishes with ingredients sourced from Irish suppliers. They have a decent selection of wine and a nice selection of cocktails and aperitifs. Can't recommend the place highly enough!
Friendly accommodating staff and delicious varied menu.
The food and the service were superb - including the expert advice on wine. I have already recommended this place to many people.
Excellent food. The flavors were interesting and the food was filling. I had a gourmet hamburger that was the best I've ever had! Humus and flatbread for a starter was amazing too. My partner had chicken kiev that was perfectly cooked. We did not have wine, but the list looks amazing. Great for a date! Service was very friendly. The guy from Chicago is nice :).
I ordered 10oz rump steak, chips and onion rings. We didn’t order starters and so we were told we’d have to wait 20 minutes for main course. That’s ok as good food is worth waiting for. The food was nice except for the small bowl of skinny chips and gravy that was like water. I shouldn’t have had to ask for a proper portion in such an establishment €26. As I left still hungry, I won’t be going back again.
Nice intimate restaurant with delicious food. The portion of wings was more than enough to start and the garlic chicken for main was very tasty. The staff couldnt do enough for us.
Very nice restaurant with friendly staff. It has a nice atmosphere and the food is very wholesome and of high quality. A little on the expensive side but that’s everywhere now. Recommended!
We enjoyed our meal in the Washerwoman. Good friendly service and the food was excellent as always. One small request. The menu was the same as the last time we dined there a few weeks ago. Lovely menu but would have liked at least one dish of the day to add to the choice. I know the menu does change, as the last time we were there the waitress told us they had just launched their new menu.
